Grease Gun Recommendations

I have one Joe. As well as a Milwaukee. I like them both a lot. I'll never pump again. The real test is if they will pump out your track tensioners.

I don't have track tensioners on my mini skid steer - unless you mean something else. I just need something that will grease my small time stuff like WheelHorse, RamRod, and Massey GC1723EB. Didn't even realize that there were different PSI ratings on grease guns. Would get a cordless grease gun but can't justify the cost vs only 2 or 3 times a year usage.

Kinda depends on your age, and how many machines you have.
You state that you have a "mini skid steer, WheelHorse, RamRod, and Massey GC1723EB", yet no equipment or location is listed in your profile.
The older you get the sweeter all battery powered tools become!
I also resisted the battery powered grease gun idea for cost,.....until I finally broke down and bought one.
Now greasing is actually mildly enjoyable, instead of being a necessary evil.

Have a collection of Porter-Cable battery operated tools, batteries, and chargers. Maybe if they offered one I would look into it a bit more. Since I need to do a spring service to my equipment, I will grease them up. Maybe after the manual way I will think a bit different on needing the battery powered GG.

I has a bolt / screw on a slider. Very simple design that works.

I use the LockNLube coupler on a four foot long hose. That leaves both hands to operate the 10k rated lever gun:

Alemite 555-E is also well rated for a manual pistol grip gun, though it seems a bit more pricey than the Lincoln 1134.

I would also recommend at the very least a battery operated gun with that many machines. I have a single tractor, and went with bulk feed pneumatic version on a cart, realizing that may have been overkill .

Starting from scratch the Milwaukee M18. Porter Cable tools are so so, may as well get into the M18 system. That would be my pick for versatility and quality of tools down the line.

Decided to go for the LocknLube Professional Series Lever Grease Gun. $30 bucks more than I was planning on spending, but after watching the videos I think it will be worth it for my needs.

I did not read all the posts, so hopefully I am not repeating what some else posted. I found the Ryobi cordless grease gun very useful and worth the cost. I already have Ryobi everything else so batteries are not a problem. I grease every 8-10 hours and have several tractors and pieces of equipment.

My wife prefers a pistol grip manual for her tractor filled with HP water resistant grease .... so to each their own....

I have enough trouble with pliers--I can't squeeze pistol grip grease guns any more. In fact, I have trouble pumping the tube type while trying to hold the nozzle on the fitting. I tried the knock-off LocknLube couplers but they started to leak right away. And I couldn't manipulate the adjusting type couplers.

Enter DeWalt battery powered grease gun with a "real" Lock-n-Lube end. Add to that a Lincoln-style fitting kit with all manner of grease fitting attachments and I'm set for all my equipment. Just lubed my dozer yesterday. Took about five minutes. I don't know why I waited so long to give into "more power!".
