We used to have a B-2710, little brother to your tractor, with the LA402 loader. I was always amazed at what it could do.

My Markham/Gator grapple won't quite open far enough to grab a big round bale (so I have to put on the bale spear to do those). It looks like your design would open plenty wide enough for round bales, though.

Rick,

Yup ... for such a small frame tractor, the larger B-series pack a lot of power for their form factor.

Certainly lots that is beyond their capabilities, but for what they are they can do an amazing amount of it work ... sometimes it just takes a little longer.

We bought ours, with 89 hours, from the people we bought our ranch from in 2006.

$10K for the 2004 B2710 with LA 402 loader, 60" Bush Hog cutter, 60" Bush Hog box blade. Cutter and box blade were barely used at all.

They left an almost new Hay King DM2020 disc harrow. Too big for the Kubota but fit my bigger tractor. Asked them what their plans were for it and they threw it in the deal. Guess they didn't want to mess with moving it.

If you haven't weighed it yet I will guess 350. Based on that you can manhandle it on the shop floor. Or maybe you are that size yourself! 😬

Nope, still haven't managed to get it weighed.

Did manage to get the expanded metal for the backstop picked, cut and fitted, and welded on yesterday tho' ...

No ... I only go around 200 ... :D

Plucked this one out before the rain really got going yesterday:

Also managed to push over and pull out a 30' tall standing tree (poplar) about 5" in diameter I think.

Thankfully it really didn't rain all that much yesterday, so if the weather cooperates might dry out and I can get back to clearing the area fairly soon.
