No! Bucket grapples are not second class citizens in Grapple Nation.... They are simply less common. Most 30+hp tractors these days have SSQA and it therefore makes sense to simply get a regular grapple as a second FEL implement, but for someone with a pin on standard bucket, adding a grapple thumb to that bucket makes all the sense in the world.Thank you !!! Bucket grapples are treated like second class citizens here but they really do have plenty of capability especially if care is taken in the way they are mounted and they are combined with a tooth bar. They excel in utility and are a blessing for us guys with older tractors that lack quick attach plates and have pin-on buckets. gg
