Grapple for BX23s

Lots of changes in the last couple years - I am curious what you guys recommend for a grapple for the BX series. Obviously it doesn’t have a lot of lift so it’s gotta be lightweight but needs to be tough enough to survive. Anyone have thought?

Do you have the SSQA or pin on bucket? If you have the SSQA I like the EA grapple for the 55" lightweight at 215lbs., catawaba has a 55" that's 212lbs and a bit less money but seems to be build a little lighter duty on the lower tines.

If you have the pin on, EA makes a really nice grapple for it.

They are back apparently and getting orders out, some people will balk at their past business practices, but they make a good product and appear to have changed how they do business now.

Catawba or Homestead for the price. Add $500 to get the EA or the WR Long. All of these are lightweight just over 200 lbs.

I've been looking at the 55in Catawaba that's a little heavier so I can use it on the BX and L3240, will be on the heavy side for the BX but would be nice to have 1 grapple that can be used on both machines.

Land Pride SGC0554 claw grapple (and Land Pride 3rd function valve) worked perfectly on my BX23S, 180 lbs...... Purchase and service via your Kubota dealership.

I mounted a thumb by Greens Machine on my bucket it works really well and can be used on my other tractors with the extra bases that he sells as well

Another vote for Green’s Machine bucket thumb. Very versatile and I leave it on all the time.
