grapple attachment hydraulic issue

I just installed grapple, tried out works good, having an issue with opening. under 1500 rpm, works fine, if over 1500 rpm, when I try to open it sticks, might open 1-5" and locks, have to close and reopen. closes fine at higher rpm, just wont open. any ideas? TC45da, using rear remote for opening and closing.

Disconnect and reconnect the QD's. Inspect the o-ring inside the QD.

Do you have a hyd gage installed, if not, they are good to have, to trouble shoot and monitor the hyd system.

Ive had the lines apart checked all the qd. several times over the past 2 days, all looks good.

The only difference to the cyl at low rpm verses high rpm is that there is more GPM's to the cyl, and that only determines speed of operation. Pressure determines if the cyl will produce power.

Does the relief valve come on?

Could it perhaps be mechanical, binding etc. Disconnect the cyl at the grapple end, see if it has full motion.

While the cyl is disconnected, vary the engine rpm and cycle the cyl and see if it works normally.

Does the 3pt work normally through the tractor rpm range?

If you are using the FEL at the same time as the grapple, the FEL might be using all the fluid.

With all other valves in neutral, try cycling the grapple at different rpm's.
