Gooseneck or stick with bumper pull ?

The nose high GN pulled great behind the Ford, just like it does with the RAM. The only difference is that the Ford didn't like the tongue weight.

It will pull better level. In addition if you weigh your axles you will find your rear axle is carrying more weight. This can be crucial if you are near or at max weight because you can overload a axle, rim, tire, spring, ect. I fix this stuff all the time.

For some reason you're just not getting it. The GN pulls great behind the Ford. Ford's springs are just a bit wimpy. It even squats a bit with no load on the trailer. There's no way to "fix" it and level the trailer on the Ford, unless you remove the bed for more clearance.

I get that. What is the GVWR on that truck? Even if it sags get the trailer as close to level as possible. Does the GN have adjustability?

There's no way to adjust the GN any further on the Ford without the neck hitting the bed and tailgate coming out of a typical driveway, gas station, etc.

I don't use the truck at all anymore. I gave it to my wife to haul her GN horse trailer. Her trailer also sits nose high and there's only a couple of ways to change that unless the truck bed is removed. One way would be to use taller trailer tires and the other to install a lift kit on the trailer. Both could cause horse loading problems, so it is what it is.

My preference has always been, and will always be a gooseneck, but I do own a few bumper pulls too.

Couldn't find one of the dozer loaded up.

Thanks, I had to look long and hard to find a used one that was half way affordable.
I went to Mississippi to get this one.
