Good Tractor Prices

That's not a good price at all. Not a good model either.

You can get a Kioti CK 2610 new for that $ right now and it is A LOT more tractor.

For a Kubota that's a great price. Building one on Kubota website MSRP is about $26K.

And comparing spec's both the L2501 and CK 2610 are fairly close so don't know where you get "A LOT" from.

The Massey 1526 is real nice, nice enough that when they killed off the series they had to bring the model back the following year.

I wanted to look at one, but the local MF dealer didn't get one in until well after I'd purchased my Kioti. Subcompacts and large Ag machines are their bread and butter, and they carry Yanmar to cater to the in-between crowd.

If you don't need a backhoe, it's irrelevant.

So for about the same price of that used 5 year old L2501, you can go buy a New tractor with better specs and options and a full warranty.

You can get them for $20k right now. Specs don't look similar to me.

In my area, when I was shopping (2021), the CK2610 was only $1K cheaper when compared to a similarly equipped L2501.

I am aware that Kubota prices have jumped quite a bit over the last couple years, however.

All prices have jumped. Some more than others.
I know when I tractor shopped in 2019 I found that open station cab tractors were close in price across different brands.
Of course I also got the 20% NCHA discount through Kubota which isn't offered now.

actually Dave's ad is still up, but I think the price increased a bit? now $20950 for the Hydro
but it does include the 2200lb capable FEL and is a 4000LB machine.

You do know the spec's are easy to find?
The 2515R is a 3000 lb machine vs L2501 which is 2600 lb.
The 2515R has a lift capacity @ 24” of 2,420 lbs. while the L2501 has a 1400 lb lift at @24". Some Kubota owners have raised the lift capacity by increasing the hydraulic pressure.

Personally I wouldn't want a small tractor lifting weight that might damage axles and lift mechanisms. That's why I went from a L3301 to a MX5400.

Either you drive slow or you haven't checked lately.

Try DeQueen, AR; Nashville, AR; or Longview, TX. At least one of those has to be about an hour from you. Since TYM and Branson are merged you can get one from either type of dealer.

The Yanmar/CC is a crazy good deal. That's a smart little tractor and tough as they can get.

When I was looking back in the summer 2022, a tractor like this was non-existent on the used market. At least they were rare and gone fast. Now I am seeing more FB adds with good prices.

I would have jumped on this like a duck on a June Bug. Anyone in TN needing a good compact?

I've got a Kubota B7800 w/FEl, ROPS, Bush Hog 4', Scrape Blade 5', box blade 4' & Post Hole Digger w 6" & 12" augers as well as the PATS quick Change hooks installed.

Any ideas on what Imy widow might want to get for it? Very low hours as we only have driveways and such or pulling logs etc. always under cover. Loaded rear tires. Could use a seat and rear lights.

Hard to say without a picture and “very low hours” should be shouted from the rooftops…but you didn’t give any number, so that’s suspicious. Value is priceless/worthless without proper descriptions And if you’re asking what your “widow might get for it” that means you have to die first…

That's a really good price! I was at the local Deere dealer and was kicking some tires a couple weeks ago. The price for a 3025e was $26K.
