61 nice steady rain most of the day which badly needed,1.2" need 6.8" to break somewhat even.
Good day at work,due to rain outside actives were cancel,kitten and I had good nap.

That news does not sound very good.
From someone who has gone through major back surgery, in my opinion it would be my very last option. Because of my scoliosis back in 1966, I had Harrington rod surgery, and to this day, 60 years later I remember how painful all of that was to this day. They used a Harrington Rod attached to my spine and then grafted bone removed from my hip to finish the surgery. Mike, Riptides daughter has scoliosis also, I’m sure he can add to this conversation.

Drew, sorry for the bad news on the back. We sure enjoyed the scenery in ND and SD, and the prairie dogs.
Got another big storm just off to our south, but the radar track looks like a miss for us. at .63" for the day. Son had to drive thru downpour, not home yet.
2 deaths on I81 today, one down near Natural Bridge - Lexington area, think the other south of Hagerstown MD.
