Good morning!!!!

67F and sunny @ 09:45, heading up to around 74F for the day's high.

Got recyclables and trash gathered up and run up to the cans at the road just as it was starting to spit rain yesterday. And made it back down to the house without getting soaked ... (y)

Spent the rest of the day out in the garage cleaning and straightening up and made good progress.

Got hanger put up for large fire extinguisher on the back bench and got it hung.

Repositioned the 4' LED light over the back bench and then put up a second one. Now have very good lighting over that area.

Late afternoon NWS issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning with winds in excess of 60 mph and penny-size hail possible. We were directly in its path and got hammered pretty good.

Nearby LWS shows that it dumped almost an inch of rain, had a large pool of standing water in the lower front yard. Could hear the hail as it came down.

On agenda for today:

Move hay wagon into the shade then back to coating fence posts.

Have more planting to do in the garden but think I'll give it a day or two to dry up a little bit.

Otherwise see what else comes up.

Hope everyone is having a decent Monday ... (y)

70°F and .05 inches rain

A bit of clean up piddling around yesterday.

Replacement board and rollers for Dolphin at the PO

Will be putting that back together today

Newest addition to our little group, moved from Florida, got 55 yds concrete delivered. $340/yd. Didn’t have the heart to ask what the pumper truck and masons cost, but have to guess it was close to a $20k day. Looks well done.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Another beautiful morning in Kauai. Planning to rent kayak's and explore a wildlife refuge today.

was packing the rv to leave tomorrow and saw the right rear tire was flat.
pumped it back up but clear the dually air extension had come loose inside, you could hear it hissing.
no way to access without taking off giant hubcap, been here, done this, so back to the gas station
in Lambertville who took me in and got me fixed in ten minutes. We laughed because yesterday was such a
hard experience and today I promised him an easy one. And thank goodness it was.

Was going to get gas in DE tomorrow but figured while there in NJ
filled the tank up with regular at 3.09 and made one heck of scraping noise getting out of station despite angling as best
as I can. Thank goodness for scrape "wheelie bars" built into rear of rv.

only negative was no way to get home without paying a toll on the only bridge that will take trucks. $1.50 wasted
at least I remembered to put EZPass gizmo in rv. Would have been 3 bucks without it.
so....full tank of gas, fairly clean windshield, air in my tires, I guess I'm ready
with its fresh tuneup engine runs great
maybe I'll get 10.1mpg instead of 10

negotiating the rv and car in the driveway now is challenging due to all my new rose bushes out there.
I just squeeze past the tree rose.

am a little tired but otherwise feeling better.

green beans are coming in, going to check them out later, see if enough to pick.

You using Homestead again Drew?

You using Homestead again Drew?
Tom, yes, found a shaded spot.
it's not my first choice but it's 8 minutes from my friend's in Milton
I'm spending the days with them anyway.

I'll wave as I go by 👍
I have a guest with me this trip or I'd figure out a way to come say hi.

went in to do a final clean of rv, recleaned the bathroom, tested the water, for the moment
everything seems to work
hot in there though, came out soaked. Can't run a/c on 15amp home receptacle even with soft start.
battery charger would kick on same time and click.

I've had enough fun for today, need to lie down and read my book.

Wow Drew, my green bean plants barely growing, and something ate off some that did.
got .46" rain since midnight.
Got 3 rows of garden weeds pulled, dumped about a dozen buckets of weeds. by afternoon, dirt was drying up on top.
Got last 2 posts of deck2 in, and started the outer header. Hammer drill only hammered near the end of the first hole, none for the 2nd hole. Sure makes it a lot harder to drill concrete. Also broke the set screw on my electric black and decker sawzall, so can't use it. not sure if i can replace the part, need to pull a pin to get the tip off, then maybe the remaining set screw that's still inside can be removed. Had to finish cutting the last notch for the header, with a hand saw. Went old fashion.
Too tired to do more. need to remove the old garage deck, then and can start putting joists on when I put the other half of the header on. Will need to get more joists.

I reported the spammer post

Good (Wednesday) morning. I don't see a Spam Post so it must've been taken care of and this one will show as #207695. :)

Overnight Low of 2.4C and it's presently 12.6C, clear & calm. There was 2.3mm in the gauge @ 0900... the rain event [Sat-Tue] is over.

It's 'into town' day for mail/petrol/groceries. I'll also swing by the Church Hall to ascertain a quick 'preventative' task = a stop at the hardware shop for a few short star-pickets. Later this arvo I'll get Paddock #3 set-up with a round of hay for a transfer. So some quick "tractor fun" today and some chain-harrowing tomorrow.

That's about it, take care all.

$1.725/L for 20L = ($34.50/5.29gal.) Trailer went to dump and back to the house before I went to Sundridge. No lights on the trailer, but you can see the lights of the Dodge from the rear. It is legal except for the lack of lights. That is why it only goes to the dump, 2 miles from the house. It is a little tricky getting it in between the two shelters with the pile of firewood where it is. Kinda like parallel parking a tractor trailer the same way you would a car, more or less.
Pissed down rain, the cat came back in 20 minutes before we left for the dump. He doesn't like being out in the rain.

Coffee has been poured. 48° with light fog this morning. Heading to 86° with partly cloudy skies and wind. Cleaned all the birdfeeders up yesterday. Then filled with fresh bird seed. Topped off both tractors with fuel. Got BBQ out of barn and did a slab of ribs. Never got to grass cutting yesterday. Going to try a conserve energy day.
June Full Strawberry Moon.

Good Morning All.

good morning all
up early, busy morning but knew I'd start off the day with
a wonderful moon picture from Ron.

drinking coffee but having hard time eating. As soon as I put something in my mouth, I get
queasy. Reminds me of taking Wegovy. This too shall pass, leftover GI issues.
going to be a long day today and trying to conserve energy.
I seem to get overheated and break out sweating quickly. Thank goodness for a/c.

buppies, you mentioned blood sugar. Yes, symptoms are similar, dizzy, queasy, shaky hands.
glad the worst of that is gone, would not have made this trip feeling like I did on Monday.

I have always been glad my Menieres disease "only" manifested itself through loss of hearing and tinnitus, but
not severe vertigo. When i get sick from something, anything, seems to trigger the vertigo.
being dizzy is miserable

enough whining, sorry.

took a long hot shower which helped my sore neck and when light out will finish packing rv.
dinner tonight at my friend's home in Milton, tomorrow night we go to an Asian "fusion" (whatever that means)
restaurant in Lewes DE, weather should be nice, and we got a reservation for an outside deck. We might be on the water, not sure.

not sure about logging in and pics on this trip. I think by time I get back to rv I will be half asleep.
probably tomorrow morning. My friends are late risers,
don't expect them to pick me up at campground until about 10am.

sunny and warm today, good travel day.
