I have 2 friends that cut, rake and bale hay.

After them both separately baling hay this past weekend, they both called me and told me they were worn out. Both said they were ready to give it up. Each have 2 a/c cab tractors plus non cabbed tractors.

Good (Tuesday) morning. Overnight Low of 6.1C and it's presently 12.8C, partly cloudy with a slight breeze. There was a marvellous 34.5mm in the gauge @ 0900. My tanks were full yesterday morning. (y)

We'll see what I get up to but I'm not anticipating much.

That's about it, take care all.

good morning all
I hope today goes better, still weak and a little dizzy but second covid test came back negative.
warmer day today, going up to 80's with some showers possible

service station had terrible time putting my new front shocks on due to KDSS hydraulic sway bars on car, that put
everything under pressure. I don't think they will ever change shocks on this model again, owner had to work with mechanic for over two
hours and wasn't done until 5. Was charged for 3.5 hours labor, reasonable, just feel bad it took them most of the day.

need to go food shopping today and pack things in rv for trip tomorrow.
but I really just want to go back to bed, but spent almost all yesterday there.

Good Morning from Central Texas.
Another warm sticky humid start (typical). 75.9 degrees, 75.0 dew point at 4am.
The USAF continues to stock up on the GBU-53/B StormBreaker precision guided small diameter munition from Raytheon. The StormBreaker is approximately 200 pounds and 69" in length with a 105 pound warhead designed to hit stationary targets at 69 miles and moving targets at 45 miles.
The millimeter active radar, semi active laser guidance, infrared homing and GPS with a secure data link back to the aircraft are used for targeting compatible with the F-15c and F-35 lightning warplanes.

Good Morning,
Ct, 61 to start going to 73 with more rain 🥲 This rain is beginning to get old but what are the options 😉

Well for all of you TBNers that thought I was so clever putting my gazebo up by myself, here is what happened yesterday morning. Chinese workers can’t count worth a darn 🥲 I am missing one small section of the roof panels. 😒 I sent an email yesterday and they responded over night, I need to provide the order number and part number for replacement 😒

Sadly, my offer was rejected
FWT, I feel for you my friend, it will happen, you must be patient, easy for me to say but it will happen 😉
Reality tv show  Are you smarter than bear. ;)
GM Thomas, sometime yes and sometimes NO ! 😂
Each have 2 a/c cab tractors plus non cabbed tractors.
Kyle, this could be your big opportunity to score I nice AC cabbed machine 😉🙏

Ok, onto the big news this morning, I received an email from the FCC early this morning that my new Amateur Radio call sign has been granted 😁🙏 I am now officially
W1HLP. The significance of this as that I was originally licensed as WN1HLP in late 66 or early 67 and the upgraded my license to General class in 68 and then finally Amateur
Advanced in 1969. I think it’s fair to say this morning I was like a 5 year old on Christmas Morning 😁😂

Hope all have a blessed and safe day 🙏

70 going to 84, maybe more rain.

Congrats Scotty. Sorry about your gazebo.

Did a dump run, hike and swim, and then off to get gas and diesel...surprised that there was 20 cent/gallon difference between neighboring gas stations. I stopped at the first, was not happy when I drove a couple blocks and saw the other's lower price.

I decided to go further on to Home Depot and pick up a new drain auger...a hybrid type that you can hand spin or use your cordless drill. Della's first walk around inside Home Depot.

Cleaning the washing machine drain was a long, tedious job getting past the trap...fed 15 feet of cable out, and decided that was enough, but pulled the head out clean...so back trying to get past the trap again...finally finessed it and fed all 25 feet of cable. Pulled out dog hair...surprisingly from our black lab of 20 years ago! Tested one wash load, but not gonna declare success quite yet.

I learned a positive thing when first finding water on the floor under the washer: that buying it from Costco added a year to the standard warranty, which meant that this Samsung was still covered...so I had called the Costco Service number...got answered in less than a minute by a friendly helpful lady that went through some diagnostic questions...then she submitted a Samsung Repair ticket, and I got the email confirmation in seconds. Repairman schedule for 3 business days later. But then I ran another load and discovered the drain problem, and canceled the repair ticket.

good morning, 66 going to 80 and raining again. Enough rain for a long time

Need to mow grass if it can stay dry long enough.
Picking up groceries

Worked some on the barn. Every saw cut is measure and measure again before cutting.

Drew, did you get a wheel alignment as well?

.31” rain over night, thought I heard thunder in the night.
Wanted to pull weeds in garden, now too muddy. Did hoe a couple rows last night before dark.
Went out last night to see what all the noise was next door, seems a bucket truck and several vehicles on the side road, they might be stringing fiber on the telephone poles, I know it’s coming soon.

Just started raining again

Good Morning
62° and raining. 1/4” in the last hour in a few heavy showers. Supposed to get to almost 80 with rain ending later this morning.
Yesterday was mostly an inside day. I did get around to changing the window trip in the bedroom. Was a bit of a pain, as it was caulked to the wall, and I wanted no collateral damage. Ended up chiseling out around the nailheads and pulled them out with a cats paw. Cut the caulk with a utility knife, and slid a putty knife behind the trim after the nails were pulled to free it.
Here’s the old trim-

And the new trim in place but not nailed.
IMG_6746.jpg

The old trim got converted to kindling.

Not sure what’s on today’s agenda yet, I know there will be some time in front of a computer doing FAA paperwork, hopefully not a full day. We will see what the day brings.
