good morning all
did not have a good night.
Got a shingles shot yesterday and for the first time had a reaction.
Headache, a little nausea and stiff neck.
unfortunately I have a crown going in at 8:30am and that just adds insult to injury.

I didn't get car washed but I did get two of the alloy wheels cleaned up, using 0000 steel wool and some
cleaner wax. Whoever owned this car before strictly went to the car wash, and you can always tell the wheels never
get fully clean.

really want to climb back in bed but that's not going to happen. Later...

He said to start them burning very early in the morning, so by the time they might catch someone’s attention, they wouldn’t be structures any more, just a trash fire. That’s my kind of bureaucrat!
A reare breed! Congrats!

you hike to some really neat places, never heard of that. Did get gas for $2.80 at sams club last week, most places here still above $3.
Been paying $2.49 at Costco around here. Walmart+ gives me an extra 10 cents below that.

Paul, maybe you missed it, but was curious if your 3D printer offered different materials to create parts with ? Possibly a stronger or more durable plastic ?

The short answer is yes. There are a variety of materials available including some that incorporate carbon fiber.

Sunday's sunrise. Forgot to download it from camera.
Beautiful sunrise, Ron. That color is exactly what the plastic fishing worm makers used to call "Tequila Sunrise". I've caught a lot of bass on those color worms back when I was fishing a lot with my Dad.

Good Morning
36° with a forecast high of 55 under clear skies.

Yesterday’s trip to Palm Beach held no surprises other than the downpour while we were out of the airplane down there. Typical Florida shower, caught us by surprise and lasted 10 minutes. But it did catch us with the cabin and cargo doors open.

When I got home from the airport, UPS had delivered my DRO for the lathe, so I know what I’m doing today. I did print some adapters to let me use AA batteries in place of C cells, but that was about all I accomplished.

First order for today is breakfast with the professor, then I’ll get back and start on the lathe project. The 3D printer will likely be running in the background most of the day as well.

Not sure if the lathe will take all day, the cleanup and moving it is going to be more work than actually installing the DRO.

Good Morning!

57°F currently and predicted to mid 70's today.
10 mph winds out of the SSW make it feel like 50°.
Winds gusting up to 22mph
No precip indicated and cloudy to partly cloudy all day. 91% humidity though.

I may just stay home today and putter around, clean up the truck, building needs to be swept out, call a friend to go to lunch. I have some online training I need to do pretty soon to requalify for a local county board.

I hope everyone has a wonderful productive day! Prayers for our Nation!

Did they have anything there comparable to Snow's BBQ?
No we did the vegan options which are actually on the menu now no special ordering required. To get the Snow's BBQ flavor a coal bed of POST OAK wood is required.

Good morning! 54˚F heading up to 82˚ with cloudy skies and S wind.
I took the 4 old dinning chairs to the consignment store yesterday and they accepted them. If they sell that will bring down the price of the $32 estate chairs which look surprising like the chairs at Mar-a-Lago. Post cereal money built that house, there is a historic story behind it. Marjorie Post actually gave the house to the United States to be used as a presidential retreat. The U.S. gave it back to the estate.

Tulip Festival at the "Farm" starts today. The freeze last week did not kill them.

Good Morning,

I’m guessing you will need to drill and tap a few holes for both cross slide and carriage ! Transfer punch may be your best friend on this project ! Should be nice when done Paul ! 🙏

Morning all, was 38 for dog walk , up to 57 and sunny.
Didn't get much done, dealing with Experian, the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Have been trying to get my phone number fixed in their system since 2022, Who knows whose number they have and what they have sent them

Brother arrives in San Diego to see what's going on with dad, we have the nurses back in house and Dad's GF has completely lost it. I need to make plans to go out there.

Gas was 3.69 here at the cheapest local place.

Tonight is the sons last talent show at the high school, hard to believe he is off to college next year. Still waiting to hear back from 6 colleges, but of the 6 he heard back from, he was accepted by all.

Be well,

Gas was 3.69 here at the cheapest local place.

which in this area is 30 to 40 cents high, 3.19 in Doylestown
there used to be two gas stations across from each other in Washington Crossing, one no longer pumps gas.
But Skerdlant's, which used to be McKissics, always went there own way because they knew the local market.
So they never posted gas prices. And they would pump your gas which is nice in PA. I bet regular is 3.99 there; clearly
for folks who the price of gas is not a big deal. Put simply, they were unapologetically expensive.
Back in the 60's my next older brother worked at McKissic's while I worked at the bag mill in New Hope.
That was when you got your front and back windshields cleaned too.

is Costco gas "certified" meaning I think they pledge to change the fuel filters on time.

nothing worse than pulling up to a gas pump and seeing the fuel filter totally covered in rust.
