Had one big bolt of lightning and thunder clap earlier. Nearly an inch of rain...saw where some places in western Virginia got nearly 2 inches.

I would use a hacksaw when empty, if nervous use a hacksaw in a pan of water with the bottle submerged. Or a cordless drill while in a bucket of water.

Or use a bullet of your favorite caliber at an appropriate range.

63°F and .43 inches rain.

Full, expensive day yesterday. Spent more $ at Costco than usually nothing special. Went HD in Kona and purchased 86 g water pressure tank. Bladder in old one has given up the ghost. Box had been opened, section of cardboard missing so I asked if I got and open box discount. They took off 10% much to my surprise. And I got my usual 10% on top of that. Made the trip worthwhile.

We took Sophie’s new Ascent. Drove and rode really nice. More than doubled the mileage. It was loaded for trip home.

we routinely had explosions when operating a trash waste to energy facility due to people disposing of propane cylinders in the trash. The shredders were located in a room with heavy concrete walls for the same reason to protect the operators

cancelled my trip out today, will go tomorrow.
cleaned thick layer of frozen sleet and ice off car, cleaned off wipers, and temps are now slightly over freezing.
so it's been a quiet day. Made sure the birds got some extra seed since the ground was frozen.
threw some of the cheap stuff out with the cracked corn and millet in it, some ground feeders love it.
most prefer the sunflower seeds

if birds eat insects, I wonder why they don't have bug flavors for the bird treats...besides just leaving mealy worms for them.
they aren't cheap, how about mealy worm flavored...

Submerged in water would be my suggestion as well. Probably hesitate a bit once breached and let water seep in.
