Good Morning!!!! 51F @ 6:45AM. A mix of clouds and sun this morning, then becoming foggy and damp this afternoon. High 67F. Winds NW at 10 to 15 mph.
Looks like a damp trip to the coast, with wind, surf, and small craft warings in effect. Should make it interesting. Packing the rain gear just in case everyone decides to hike along the beach anyway. The waves may decide that for us.

Only Xmas gift that hasn't arrived yet is an Applebee's gift card for the mail lady. It was ordered more than a week ago, and seems to be stuck in the mail somewhere. Kind of ironic, huh?

Hope everyone's ready for the big holiday, and the weather cooperates. Gonna be a short week...

Weather guy says there are 3 pacific waves coming this week. Hope you don't get too much of that weather.

Hope your gift card didn't get jacked by the postal system thieves like ours did last year. It is a big problem. Not sure why they can't catch them.

Good morning all. 38ºF to start in TX. variable cloudiness on drive, high on drive was 51ºF. Made coffee to start day setup,attend,tear down chapel, breakfast with group and hit the road. Traffic heavier than normal, especially semi's. 37ºF to star today, Play with granddaughter and try to post. more catch up later I hope. GSIL wanted to know if he could harvest on when He got back, more deer than he has seen all season.

Happy(NC) sorry about the parts wait for heat pump. Good to hear getting plenty steps in. I always got the half burned kerosene smell when using torpedo heater. Takes much longer for winter bike clothes than winter street clothes.

Good (Tuesday) Christmas Eve... morning. Overnight Low of 8.5C and it's presently 22.5C, mostly clear with a gentle breeze.

Yesterday's tip-run, petrol top-up (naturally the price had jumped a wee bit... just a coincidence I'm sure) and some 'liquid refreshments' bought & delivered to my neighbours. I'll be spending Christmas lunch with them, as I do every year.

Those rascally Wine Faeries have dropped off another delivery at the PO.

I'm sure that I'll get up to something today.

Midnight Church service tonight, traditionally ended with a wee dram of port.

That's about it, take care all.

Balmy 27 high today 36 tomorrow I guess now 45 yuk on these up and down temperatures. Not much done today nerve in butt really hurts. Wife on coach sleeping woke up once looking for our golden Sofi who had been dead since 2013.

Coffee is done brewing. 31° with fog this morning. Heading to 34° with cloudy skies. Yesterday morning was a good time to get outside. Then freezing rain showed up. Lasted until evening. About 1/2" snow fell on top of the ice. I did get pipe fittings sorted out. Need a couple more. So got a trip to Menards. Got to clean up ice and snow on walkways. Then not sure what I will get into.

Ct, 24 to start going to 38 ! Sounds like some light snow showers this morning and then some clearing.

It looks like some oil delivery this morning, hopefully not all day and then some last minute wrapping later ! Tonight we go over to my brother in laws for a quiet dinner and then hopefully early night to bed !

Walked out to the end of the DW this morning for the paper and it’s noticeably warmer that the last few sub zero days !

The grands enjoyed last night at our nieces house, they all got sleds , which they will be using in our Vermont hill to slide down, the Ranger will get a work out carrying the kiddos back up the hill I’m sure !

Kyle, it is fun to read about playing tennis at your town while so many others are talking about snow!

I made a dump run and post office run, so stopped by the park so Della could get a good leg stretch and swim...had to break through skim ice to get out to deep water. Had the park to ourselves (33F keeps most folks away). But just before we finished our hike a lone Portuguese Water dog came up...his owner was much slower arriving. Della is still in heat, but fortunately the male dog had been neutered. So they had a fun time together.

While I was roasting coffee, neighbors stopped by to bring a still-warm banana nut bread (how did they know that's my favorite?) and a huge poinsettia. They are great people. I was tasting the bread before they got to the end of the driveway.

7am and 34F and holding during a gray cloudy day. A depressing kinda damp 48 hours.
Dipping below freezing tonight. Similar day Wednesday.
So enough snow should survive for the white Christmas gang.
Time to stretch the waist band and over do it on the goodies.
Heck with what the Doctor says for a few days.
I cheated on Santa all year so why not on the Doc who also thinks he sees and knows everything.
