While on the subject, does anyone recommend a particular OBD2 scanner? I need one worthy of helping me figure out which airbag circuit is messed up.
I am very pleased with this one, it’s bi directional, so you can program keys, operate systems etc.

Top items purchased are: (not counting gasoline)
Bread, Milk, water, honeynut cheerios, almonds

Good evening all. 38ºF for the start, mostly clear sky. light breeze. Light wind, sky remained mostly clear, and high temp was 60ºF. made coffee to start, putter/leaf control. Battery leaf sucker couldn't handle the size and volume of leaves, so cranked up old corded one and plowed through them. Drained battery twice but caught up using leaf sucker, need to mow the rest. Got bike ride in, and some tree decorating.
Bill I was not sure 1 day early was important or what? I was unsure why you mentioned it so I asked :)
Ron hope you enjoyed the snow more since no accumulation. Glad 2nd coat on filter board. Glad you could get haircut will neighbor sited in. Did you get to send any rounds. Hope shopping went well, and progress on new filter install. Like the crane pic.
Don type faster :). Sorry not truck wash, glad shower is sealed and lawn is mowed. Please get back to us if homemade recipe worked.
Buppies glad parking lot finished, good luck on main road. I have been down that road with Dad, and a general health failing with my wife, ended well for them, not as well with me. You have to stay on top of the level of care she needs, and have a plan to provide it. prayers sent
Dennis yes, out of happy oatmeal :(
Billy sorry tree had to go, it has a special place in your memories. Hope whats left will grow for a while. Hope tree processed well.
Dennis still in top five.
Thomas glad no Herculean cleanup task. Hope you took night off.
Pearson good morning and welcome to GM thread. Care to share about where you are?
Bill hope dump and town run went well. So that's where my happy oatmeal went, enjoy.
Scott(vt) sounds like cold front going through. Hope work went well.
Mike hope burn pile burned with no problems. So the job is a temp job? Hope you will reading went better than mine.
Kyle because I am lousy typist, and error sneak through :(. Brown and Sharpe made good manual machine tools, The NC stuff no so much, so the decision was made to go measuring equipment only.
Kyle thanks for the info on difference between FM and State roads.
Frits how are you going to know when beam back in place? Sorry no luck on line to get help with interior lights. Glad new job good for D and working out Hope Caredge site helps her with new car.
Mike glad you were able to miss cow. Sounds like sheriff didn't want to get involved.
Frits sounds like you got someone that didn't know cows get out of their pastures from time to time.
Billy just wondered, seems like in Missouri if pet not getting breed got neutered before they could breed.
Paul hope you made progress in shop. Hope rust not too bad on Fusion skills. Hope peddler's village visit and dinner went well. Hope made it to get together before it was over.
Ken hope firewood got moved today. Glad Chorus did well at concert. Don't see poles fall over too often, I have seen some with a good lean here in Texas.
Drew glad new battery in Volvo and latch fixed for free. I know there is a procedure to replace battery in my F150 that keeps 12V on computer at all times. Computer make throw a code if it detects a reboots.Hope garage work went well.
Drew one thing to remember is the "office" time for things like permits, ordering materials and scheduling about the same regardless of job size.
Drew have not filed my own taxes for over 40 years no idea on software.
David glad good day mowing. Sorry about another stabilizer broken. Hope guys did better than the stabilizers.
RNG sorry you still may be looking for web development software. Hope your luck with swing set gets better.
Dennis glad Sam was better experience. I down graded to normal when we moved to Texas and Costco 1+ hour drive away.
Drew pretty sure TurboTax has robust upgrade system because of all the tinkering Congress does to tax code.
Randy(wag) sorry about all the toilet problems. Hope they slow down. Glad meeting went well and no other problems detected with the rest of the toilets.
Kyle a straight ODB2 scanner can have issues talking to newer systems. I just go to O'Reilly's to get the truck or SUV scanned to get the codes read and do research before taking vehicle in.
David 1 down, 1 to go.
Dennis you have a lot of history

good morning all
well quite a forecast for today, snow!
won't amount to much, but should be pretty,. maybe an inch by end of the day
I'm off to do foodshopping this morning, have neighbors coming over for cider and cookies tomorrow afternoon and time
to get the cider.

I appreciate the info on the battery install, thought I was getting hosed a bit by shop but I guess not.
I kept looking over there and wondering what they were doing, as they had the battery in quickly.

Mostly, have a talk with your oatmeal and get an attitude adjustment going,we need you to be happy in the morning!! :giggle:

Ken, I hope for Christmas Santa brings you peace and resolution with your father's health, and that he gets the care he needs.
Same for Buppies and his wife.
Nothing is more important than the ones you love.

Hot coffee taste very good this today. 28° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 33 some snow showers. Got enough snow overnight that I will need to shovel walkways walkways. Grocery shopping went good. Shelves were full with extra stock filling the isles. Like always people were very nice. Came home and put groceries away. Took Comcast Cable Box out of my entertainment center. Drove to Local Xfinity store and shut down my cable. I have been watching TV without over the air antenna. Enough channels here to most. Xfinity which is NBC and sponsors one class of cars. Does not have a NASCAR sports option. I will be looking for Fox sports FSI and FS2 another way. Finished cleanup in shop when I got home. No plans for today yet.

Buckeye, the employees at the COSTCO I went to were very nice. Another thing I had problems with was the scanner you use to enter store. It is about 4" square. But would only read card about 3/8" at top of screen. I think they have a problem with management decision back at main offices.

Everyone stay safe and well.

Good Morning All.

Ron, female cardinal?

ordered this to use on rv while parked over the winter since it's not plugged in.
rv does not have any solar panels on it. But I'm more concerned over engine battery, not the house bank.

Then I can use it for something else.
spent the extra money on allegedly better quality controller and I liked the wide option of mounting
offered. I have a cover over the windshield now, suppose I could just attach it to grill.
needs to point towards sun obviously

I wish they made a solar birdbath deicer.
I'd love to get rid of the big ugly yellow cord running across the lawn.
but it would need to pump out 100W or more and that means a big panel.
my birds love their water and constantly drink from the birdbath.
Lake Drew, or the water ditch, is frozen solid.
