Morning all, 50 going to 61 and light rain, more rain on the way, finally!
Did not get anything done yesterday, just too worn out.

Glad you found wallet Mostly.

Talked to my uncle, he is mostly wheelchair bound but dealing with it and is in a pretty good mood.

Bef -hope son got into car and didn;t have to wait too long. AAA has been pretty bad for us with long response times and the automated phone system from hell. They don't even ask you to fill in a satisfaction survey anymore.

We have about a year or so warranty on car, not as good as used to be on certified, and BMW actual warranty has been gutted quite a bit from years ago, I guess they have less faith in their cars with all the computer wizardry.

Being in the woods certainly a stress reducer, just wish less stress for all.

Be well,

It was hard to crawl out from under the covers this morning. A little on the brisk side but it sure beats the 110-degree weather we had this summer. I'll be working in the shop trying to get all the hydraulic hose making pieces-parts organized and in labeled bins. My new hose cutter arrived. No, it's not a $1400 saw--It's a $30 holder for one of my angle grinders. Also got a continuous edge diamond blade for it.

Have a good day all.

Good morning, the low is 42 and going to a high of 45°F. Wind E 13 mph. 40% chance of showers.

Going to check on the MTO website today and find out the status of my license. I could sit on my duff and wait for the mail strike to be over and eventually get the letter.

Youtube rabbit hole here I come!

Have a safe day all

Ha, ha, ha. That's me too. I follow a few "farmers" then get caught by the suggestions that follow. Some good, some not so much. I'm on data limit so I gotta watch what I view each month. Going over can get expensive real fast.

Good luck

Good Morning.
53 and overcast. We got less than .1” of rain overnight. Only going up a few degrees, then rain this evening, overnight and tomorrow. Maybe as much as an inch. We sure need it.

Yesterday started with breakfast with the professor, then a trip to HD for some more Azek trim boards. I actually got the doors finished and hung on the shed. Wife has decided that the shed needs to be grey, so that’s the color I made the doors. Of course, now I have to do a batch of other repairs, probably a complete Azek skirt around the base before painting it.

We had a bit of a mishap at one of our airports, an airplane aborted its approach, and stalled on the go around, pancaking into the ground and sliding quite a distance onto a parking area. There were three occupants, none were seriously injured, but two plane were likely totaled. Ironically, it was apparently a demonstration flight for some prospective buyers.

Today’s plan is to take Zoe to a vet in Malvern (about 90 minutes away) for a consultation about having her spayed lapriscopically. Apparently on a big dog it’s much easier on them.
After that, we will see what happens.

Good Morning!!!! 51F @ 6:30AM. Rain likely. High near 55F. Winds SE at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 100%. 1 to 2 inches of rain expected. Localized flooding is possible.
That is the Yankee Hill forecast, where I'll be by day's end. There's rain every day through the weekend in the 10-day up there, but there is enough inside work to keep me busy.

Gotta go. Happy Hump Day, folks!

I just read the Canadian government forced the truckers/port workers back to work
i loved the quote
Canadians have a limited tolerance for self injury

me too and I did it to myself this morning.
instead of parking in restaurant lot like i intended to this morning in Lambertville NJ, just across from New Hope,
my friend says oh look at that open space on street, park there. And it sure was convenient.
Neither of us wondered why such a "good spot" was open but just our luck right?

came back to find a 26 dollar parking ticket on windshield and that's when we saw the no parking Wed morning due to street cleaning.
Geez. Well he bought breakfast and I bought a contribution to Lambertville's budget.
and for another "I remember" memory, I do remember 3 dollar parking fines in New Hope. For failure to put in one quarter for two hours.
Then it became one quarter for fifteen minutes. Talk about inflation... now it's all electronic and designed to confuse folks

while eating a delicious lamb and tomato breakfast sandwich, one of our area's favorite ancients came in, Bob Heath, I think 98, maybe 100, owns Heaths gas station in Lambertville where I've been buying gas since 1965. When it was 27 cents a gallon. He was an Arco station originally, with Sunoco across the street,
and in all these years they have always charged the same price. Jersey gas was always cheaper than Pennsy gas so over the bridge we would go.
Bob came up and gave me a big hug, it was old home week in there, the gathering spot for oldsters of the area, both sides of the bridge.

waiting a bit for damp leaves to dry, drizzled last night, not even enough to show up on rain gauge.
want to get leaves up before real rain comes tonight.

then have to clean the house as landlady coming for coffee tomorrow, with home made Swedish pastry she is bringing.
She's going through chemo and needs some cheering up.
I'm asking them to get a surveyor in to confirm the property line so I can put up an 8 foot wood fence for about 50 feet.
need to block off crazy neighbor and his animals. So I'm hoping she tells me it's in the works, as this wackadoo is cutting down even more
of the common tree line. I'm not doing anything until a surveyor puts in a line, and I have lots of white wooden garden stakes to fill in the long areas.
Then the fence goes in just this side of line. At least he is on his meds now and not drinking. But the outside smells
like a Cheech and Chong movie set, he must be smoking foot long joints to make that much stink. If it keeps him from going nuts again, good.

yessireee, no fires for you.
that's sure a nice change for you.
my sister getting same thing, looked at her ten day.
rain every day due to the bomb cyclone (they just love that word)
wacking into the NW right now
a week of rain should put everything out, firefighters are going to be very happy.

of course, then come the landslides aggravated by the routine earthquakes.
RNG is ok, but my sister could literally slide into the Pacific.

69°F and .29 inches rain. Looking like another wet one.

Got my two most important tasks yesterday.
Found the Ridgeline Title. Not that it was truly lost. I knew it was in a safe place. We have a green file box for such, but locking 3 times I didn’t find it although I actually had it in my hand each time. For some reason it was in the Drivers License folder, right in back. This time I actually opened that folder.

Got the Ridgeline cleaned out and cleaned up. For the size of the Tundra I’m under whelmed by lack of storage. Sophie stay that’s a good thing. I’ e never been one of those guys whose ideal afternoon was the wash and wax thing, but I got through it

Today will be more time in Town. First up, the DMV.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
