It was 27ー this morning and snowing.
oh my, I just came in from painting the porch in 93+ degrees, sweat through two sets of clothes, am totally drained.
Drinking water and sports drinks steadily.
A snowball wouldn't last long here...
after a final scrape, mopped the deck, then mowed lawn for two hours while that dried, came back and painted. Thankfully this Valspar oil paint
is not very thick, yet covers well. But gosh, no wonder the industry went to latex.
while mowing was given the delightful vision of a vulture pulling the intestines out of racoon that hadn't made it across the road, pulled about two feet out, thought that was a nice lunch and off it flew. Gross. I had really hoped some larger critter would have taken the other dead bird away but I finally had to get a pitchfork and give it the heave across into the field. Where a deer carcass was also smelling.
Bird body was at least 18 inches long, one big bird, but apparently a bigger bumper.
