Good morning!
And a Blessed one at that because it’s the Lord’s Day.
The Harvest Moon at 6AM was spectacular.
Bright enough to light up the sky and our deck.
Not sure what planet is directly to the left (maybe Venus?)

Didn’t need a flashlight outside the last 2 nights.
We took a walk at night and it was spectacular. One of those times where you can see and feel a higher power

32 outside this AM. Frosty. Heading to lower 60's.

Road trip south this AM. Another furniture delivery. At least things are not showing up here, and what is here, is slowly leaving.

Well the new fridge showed up. Yeah, three months without one really messing up feeding times. Shopping too seemed a bit off, was doing pickups with more frequency and only fresh eatable foods for a day or so. Now we get to go back to real cooking and leftovers. LOL. Unfortunate the fridge seemed to grow over the last 20 years or so...it did not fit. The farmhouse floor is off in that particular are too. Still the original 1920 layout, no remodeling or fixing floors in the kitchen have been undertaken. This property is still a work in progress. The next life it is all turn key and go. I am so done with "remodeling". I had to find and break out various tools to cut into the already existing cabinet. My jig saw tried about three times. Actually broke a blade trying to cut the wood. Cheap blades I guess, I examined the thickness of some and noted - cheap blades. So after numerous attempts the saws-all came out. The cut sure is not straight but the fridge fit just perfectly. Some clutter on top, and all is well. Now we have something to talk about with family and friends and a new chapter in the farmhouse book. Chapter 25 - Replacing a refrigerator.

All is good, needless to say the day went poof. Managed to get a dump run in and return some refrigerator parts for a refund. Seems they thought we had a water line in the kitchen for the refrigerator. Nice thought, not happening.

Hope all have a good day, remember, it should be a day of rest, so some of you should try that. Be safe.

I miss those from my winters in Vermont. With a good snow cover it was almost as bright as dawn or dusk. We'd go sledding or skating until the wee hours.

Morning TBN.
Cold here today in Ohio. I woke to the news my first born died yesterday. Unexpected sort of. Life choices caught up to him. So spent yesterday driving and going to be a rough few days ahead. We'll see how it goes.

Have a safe day.

the tiny Olomana steam locomotive came from Hawaii, burned sugar cane waste as fuel, hauling pineapples and sugar cane
quite a snow plow, I think they need wipers for the windows

had never seen cogged/gear drives on locomotives before, made to haul lumber out of forests on grades exceeding 6%

Nice rail road pictures, but the dualed up IH with the no till grain drill caught my eye a bit more.

Please keep us posted on what you end up doing, I'm at the point I have to start deciding maybe...
Coverage was about the same with the several choices available to me. Slight difference in Rx coverage only. My dr/hospital group (non-profit) has their own Medicare Advantage plan. I picked them, with it's HMO plan.

You know you are getting older when you remember a dualed up 86 or 88 was a “modern” farm tractor.
