good morning, 40 going to 56 cloudy

Saw a few drips of oil under the van. I am thinking the smell is not an exhaust leak but oil dripping on the hot exhaust pipes. Need to get under there and check it out later today

Picked up some more firewood and stacked a few tractor bucket loads. Hopefully will be able to do some more of that today.

Made a chart for the beam raising with several measuring points. Will update weekly as the jack screws are turned.

Mostly, yes the tire ballast, cast iron wheel hub, and 2 cast iron disks on the wheels as well as turning the wheels for a wider stance has all helped the stability

D made it to Tokyo. Customs processing went on for hours she said it was wild

44 outside this AM. may get into the upper 50's.

Did not get to mowing yesterday, needed to run out and get food stocks.

Lifted a paintbrush to do some doors on my stalled Milk House project. That did not last too long.

Another up and down day in the books for the alligators. I think we are on three weeks now.....
My sinuses seem to be a lot better this AM. No box of tissues needed, thus far.

Hope all have a good day. Be safe.

Good morning, the low is 34 and going to a high of 43°F. Wind NW 9 mph. 70% chance of showers or flurries.

Trucking up here a 14 hour day is normal and the max we can do legally. The job I was working at you can do a pretrip (1 hour) plus 7 hours driving plus 8-10 hours unloading (we got paid for unloading and didn't have to be present) so go to bed. Log it as time in the bunk, then drive 6 hours back to the terminal. = 23 hours paid for, reload and do it all over again. Tar and chip (we call surface treating) was good to me for 20+ years and only 4 months of the year. Good for at least $40,000.oo for the 4 months and that is not counting the room and board at the rate of $70.oo/night X 7 nights a week.

I like to think that my cats that disappear have found a better place to live, but in reality they more than likely became food for either neighbours dogs, raccoons, foxes, coyotes, wolves, eagles, hawks, owls or fishers.

Today I will make the appointment for the 'functional abilities' test to get my license back.

It is raining out, so no outside work today, in fact no work today at all.

Have a safe day all

I opened my eyes and I wasn't in heaven or hell so GOOD MORNING VIETN... everyone.
40ish to start, rocketing to mid 50s. Clearing sky, low winds.
Good day to do stuff outside.
Unlikely as I have to take care of other things, pay bills etc.
Tomorrow is another day.
Brekky? Haven't had pancakes in so long I can't remember when.
Plan is two.
One is savory. Topped with bacon and a sunny side egg. Salt, pepper and some Frank's because I put that sh__ on everything.
Two is sweet.
Neighbor gave me a jar of cherry preserve made from my cherries. Really nice, not too sweet.
Putter, putter, putter... you would think I was a golfer.
Good day all.

Morning all, 43 going to 60 and cloudy, dry
Had a problem with my right eye yesterday again, went to Dr. and it seems I have some tear in the jelly part, but not the retina, so shouldn't be a big deal. Need to set up a visit to a retina specialist just to confirm.

Sorry about Ginty Scotty, if only pets lived longer.

Didn't get much down yesterday with the eyes dilated. But certainly needed less light to see

Be well,

I think my front yard is overgrown :)
