Good evening all. 68ºF for the start, overcast, light breeze. Light wind, overcast started to break up about 10:30AM, and high temp was 89ºF, HI 94ºF. Forgot to mention skin Dr review yesterday, just a few freeze offs. Made coffee to start day, Grief share, bike ride(slow) then lunch and repair guy showed to fix cook top. Took two hours but I got a working cooktop, it had been off since mid March. Got load of laundry done, Dishwasher load done. And a nap in
Ron glad trimming all done for a while. Hope seal replacement went well. Hope good visit with sister. Nice moon pic.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 55° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 81° with mix of sun and clouds. Got storm door seal installed on back porch door. Greased both mower decks. Ready to mow grass later this week. Lunch was good. Today will be taking my Sister to airport early this morning. No other plans for today yet.

Mostly, glad your dermatologist visit was mostly good.

Wife should be coming home today. So, washed a load of laundry, did the dishes, vacuumed the house last evening.

Took Della for her 0.5 year birthday hike to swim in the river in the rain yesterday. We loved it.

This is a small "cove" behind a rocky reef that was easy access. The river grasses look like autumn.

68 outside this AM, heading to lower 70's. Rain on and off this AM, expected through the day.

Phone went belly up, only 5 models behind in upgrades, so I had to get a more current one. Wow. I liked my phone, I don't keep up with tech as I should. LOL.
We shall see how the replacement process goes. Timing is of course - perfect.

Scheduled pool closing yesterday. Sigh. A handful of events and swims this year. Every year...less and less use. Hope to beat the leaves coming down this year. Will be the earliest closing, ever.

Not much else getting done.

64 this morning 3.81 in since Sunday very little run off ground soaked it up pond up about a foot still below normal creeks running nice to see. More showers today new grass seeds coming up nice.

I only celebrate the 10s. So I will celebrate my 80th if I should live that long. At 8lbs 10 oz. I guess I gave my mother quite a hard time jumping out. She couldn't have any more. Some times that is a blessing, but most of the time it makes for a lonely childhood, unless you get inventive.

Yesterday was another busy day at the old folks home.
Mantle is in place, kitchen cabinets are underway,trim work and closet shelving continues.

I moved a lot of dirt with the tractor, the shovel and rake got a work out as well.

But it’s seeded and straw mulched around the addition.

Today the fireplace will get the bluestone hearth set, and the rest of the pointing finished.
The kitchen should be finished except the counter tops, and the appliances delivered.

Good morning, the low is 57 and going to a high of 79°F. Wind E 5 mph. Sunny!

Located the containers for the used anti-freeze yesterday, today we will go out and change it.
Maybe we will get ambitious and put a rear view mirror on the trike, too. We've got the mirror, it is just a matter of the ambition to install it.
I found the horn (squeezy bulb type I got for the Crestliner boat) and will trade junior for one of his rear view mirrors (he has two).

Either today or tomorrow I will have to go to Sundridge, 5 miles South of me for some banking.
Depends on what comes in the mail.

I paid off my American Express card last October and cancelled it. Last week they sent me a statement that they owed me 9 cents. It cost them more for the letter in mail than the 9 cents. I called them up and told them that I had written that off, but they said that they couldn't so I told them to send me a check. So far it has cost them 2x$1.30 (postage) to give me the 9 cents back. Talk about tripping over a dollar to save a nickle. I have the check framed on my wall.

Time to check the lottery ticket worth (85 million dollars) and get on with my day.

Good morning! 75˚F (Typing with two hands again.). Heading to the mid 90s lots of sun, no chance of rain in the 10 day forecast, we are getting very dry. Maybe we can lure a tropical depression over central Texas.

One more day of using the sling, I am using it less and less. The 2nd Physical therapy session is later today, had no soreness from the first session. When I was doing PT with the old shoulder there would always be pain after PT, so the new shoulder is a definite improvement so far and it should get stronger and more flexible in the next three - four weeks of PT.

I found a gem in the automotive archives yesterday, the Packard service manuals. I had a 1955 Packard Clipper Super Panama. It was my Grandfathers' but after I wrecked my 64 Pontiac (wrote it off) I bought the Packard off him for a whole $50.oo.
One of the reasons I divorced my wife was that while I was in hospital she conveniently made sure the Packard disappeared. I have been searching for it for 48 years. Something tells me that it went to the crusher.

Hope to beat all the leaves coming down before the rain comes in tonite ! The pump was put in at about 7:15 this morning and I need to get the pool drained down below the 3 returns so I can blow those lines out with my trusty Craftsman shop vac !

I have a mandatory drug test this morning, so I want to get that out of the way and concentrate on the pool closure !

good morning, 64 going to 73 and raining. Rained all night and ground is absorbing it all

Cleared another area of rocks that stuck up enough to be a problem for the mower when I forget to raise the deck. Never know if it turns out to be a monster rock or rocks. Used the X to pick them out and turned into a full load for the large bucket on the tractor

Wife has another attack this morning and is in a lot of pain with the slightest movement. Helped her get into the easy chair with a cup of coffee and tylenols

Morning all, 66 going up to 75, tiny bit of rain.
Knew if I watered the lawn (2nd time in 8 years) some rain would show up.
Lots of trees in distress, so took the sprayer and drove around watering things.
Then put the sprinkler on the front patch and some of the back lawn yesterday afternoon.
