Morning all, 61 going to 80 and sunny.
Father is still not doing well, his medicare time at rehab is running out.
Spoke to his GF yesterday, surprised she even picked up the phone, she says she will bring him home with 24x7 help, but who knows.

In the same time frame, my Uncle fell again, brother convinced him to go to 24x7 help at his apartment, and he seems to be going for that. He really has trouble walking so this is a good turn of events, he keeps falling.

Tonight we go to school for mandatory Senior trip meeting, wonder how much this will cost.

Meet up with my Dr. today to discuss what to do about my arm.

Buppies - sorry to hear that...

Plowhog - prayers sent that fire is contained and it doesn't get close to you.

Be well,

Good Morning!!!! 72F @ 8:00AM. Abundant sunshine. High 94F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.
94F will seem cool in comparison to how it's been.

Always sumthin', eh Drew? Two of the five traps I have out here had mice in 'em when I got back this time around, both in the kitchen. No fresh kills in the week I've been here, though.

So far this summer at the old house, we've had a couple fires close enough to see smoke, and with the Park Fire, flames. It'll only get worse with October and November winds, especially if we don't get any rain. I'm hoping for a good outcome on the Davis Fire for you, PH.

Got two of the four walls rolled in the garage yesterday. The other two could use paint, too, but will get by with some dusting of spiderwebs. Might change my mind if I find some spare motivation laying around, but there are plenty of other jobs to keep me busy.

Today I'll take another shot at the furnace side of the HVAC. The little blower motor comes on, and stays on, but the gas doesn't come on and neither does the main blower. There's an LED flashing a code, related to a limit switch, which I replaced, but it didn't help. Calling tech support after I verify all of the above, and hoping for the best.

Return plenum went on easier than I figured, with the help of an improvised 3.5 ton lift table.
It’s all screwed in place and seams taped, now need to insulate the outgoing duct that I replaced yesterday, and wire up the aux heat coil, and it’s back the way it was.

I found one of my limit switches was out of spec, it was the replacement for the one that failed!
Check to make sure the hoses that connect up to the switches and the ones that take water away don't have crud in them too.

I guess I am going to use the combination spot and flood LED lights for the rear work lights on the Kioti. I searched this morning and didn't find the cube lights.
I do have some blue loctite so I wont worry about them falling off.
Before I do them I will be setting up the platform for the BH. I will start that this aft. First the grass needs cutting.

74°F and no rain

Sitting in Hilo airport awaiting flight to Honolulu. Have appointment for audio exam for VA. This will pretty much kill the day as my return flight gets in 1614 this afternoon.

Very nice Happy Hour at neighbors

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Thanks, Ken. I replaced that limit switch back in February of last year with one that was supposed to be a genuine York, but these days who knows where they're actually made. Knockoffs are available, but I'm going for another one from York. Didn't Einstein define insanity as doing something over again and expecting a different result?

And of course, the furnace lit right up, twice, when I tried it this morning. But it also was showing two error codes, both due to the limit switch. Fingers crossed this fixes it, because I really don't need any problems showing up during a house inspection.

47°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 85° today. Still no rain, but apparently the remains of that storm in the Gulf will reach us Thursday night or Friday and bring us some much needed moisture, and cooler temps for the weekend.

BEF, I used to really enjoy Lynn's pics from both his old place and the new place. Such views.

Good afternoon, gents.

If I have to sit at an airport, that sure is a nice place to be.

81F and partly cloudy @ 14:15, calling for a high of ... (wait for it) ... 80F ...

Waiting for the ATT repair person to show up. Internet went out yesterday afternoon ... and has been in and out ever since. Seems like that often happens after they have been doing repairs in the area or screwing around down at the CO.

Belkin UPS that the Mac Mini and the router are on seems to finally given up the ghost, won't power on. Need to crack that open and see what kind of batteries are in it.

Yesterday went a little better and I was able to get some things done outside:

Trimmed trees up along the road ... but did not get trimmings picked up. Trees should now be good for a couple of years.

Got screened compost in large patch area mostly raked out and spread.

Trimmed some water sprouts off of a hawthorn tree down in that area.

Was too windy to try and put down grass seed.

Watered all the recently planted hosta in that west bed.

Sprayed all strawberry plants, hosta in several beds, rhododendrons in the northwest bed, and a small redbud tree around with the remainder of the gallon of stink juice.

Man ... that stink juice is really stinky ... need to make up another batch ... (y)

Ran out to pick up dinner for The Woman last evening, stopped by the grocery store and grabbed a couple of items we were getting low on.

Need to get the trimmings picked up today.

Feeders due to be refilled.

Downstairs cat howling for food.

Woman seems to be slowly improving.

Thanks for the well wishes ... (y)

Hope everyone is having a decent Tuesday ... (y)

Good afternoon, gents.
Beautiful place he has.
I have nephew up in his area, he sends nice pics of his adventures. He just camped at beartooth pass, NE Yellowstone entrance in Montana.
