Good Morning Everyone,

I know that it's been way too long, Thank You for your continued prayers and support as I sort through the chaos of my 3 year long - current Separation / Divorce circumstances. Nothing new yet, the Meeting with lawyers is Sept 19. Still working on keeping the house and making a buy-out agreement.

I got away last week for a 10 hr roadtrip (each way) in a borrowed car to visit in Alberta. My Daughter, Son-In-Law, and the two grandsons (ages 2.5 yrs, and 5 months). It was great to see them.

I also had the chance to connect with some other friends in the area, including a very special friend that I have known since we were 18 yrs old and meeting in University. We were able to celebrate our 60th Birthdays together, so that was nice.

I hope that everyone is enjoying their Summer. I will try to keep in touch much more often.

Coffee is brewing. 61° with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 85° with slight chance of rain in afternoon. Did some shopping at Menards and Sam's Club yesterday. Got Trak-Vac out of storage and put to use cleaning up grass clumps in lawn. Went to neighbors and helped get power sprayer running for first time. It was for neighbor that broke leg. Finally getting out to maintain yard. Lots of weeds in garden and yard. May mow grass when it dries this afternoon.

Prayers and best wishes for everyone.

Good Morning All.

There was snow in the Sierra mountains this weekend. So unusual, never seen that before, sort of like a very hot place freezing over!

A cool 38F this morning, headed to 70F. Really nice weather today!

I will finish Rigby's new pasture pen today by adding a gate. I made the new fencing more robust since he previously learned how to knock over the much smaller fencing I had around the lawn. And as any puppy owner knows, once they do a successful "jailbreak" they will keep repeating it.

Yesterday, in the new pen, he ran full speed at the new 4 foot plastic fence, jumped sideways and "body slammed" it. Tried to knock it over like he had done earlier with the smaller fence. He just bounced off, lol. So our little "convict" will need to come up with revised escape plans from his new penitentiary! 😄

Everyone have a great day !!!

Good morning, the low is 60 and going to a high of 81°F. Wind ESE 3 mph. 30% chance of showers.

Might get at the Dodge garage today and put that roof on. The wind dictates whether or not we do it, also Juniors' get up and go. He does all the ladder up and down work, trust me there is a lot of it.
I'm not sure yet whether or not we will be doing the tractor shed this year. That tarp is still looking good.

That is about it for now.

Have a safe day all

You should have made it a 'one and done' 6' high chain link with cemented in corner posts and concertina wire on top. It wont be long before he teaches himself how to jump over the shorter fence.;)

good morning all
another nice sunny day up to high 80's
taking household plants over to a friend so she can water them easily while I'm away.\

been wondering what to set HVAC at when I leave. End of August, still hot for a month.
So I figured I'd leave it set at AC and 78 degrees, to help with humidity.
But then come Oct I would normally switch to heat.
But since I'm not here, nothing will freeze then, and no house plants to worry about, think I'll not worry
about switching to heat. Might be a bit nippy when I get home though.

David, hope you do ok today
not like you were short on rain...

still waking up

If you set the HVAC at 70° that should keep the house from freezing, but will the system automatically switch from cool to heat?
