Good morning!!!!

lot of good traveling music here, thank you men

thoroughly watered my friend's gardens, then came back and filled the battery waterer
with water and did find something interesting. The last two batteries on this end did not get enough water and I found
three low cells. Water comes in from other side. That means one of two things.
first is I simply ran out of water while second is the system sucks.
So got them filled up and put back on the charger.
want to take good care of those expensive batteries, hoping for 7 years, going on 3 now.

marvelous
I cranked this up
have to figure out how to get this to play in rv while windows down
I replaced the truck door speakers but not sure how to get this into head unit.
I have a good Polk soundbar in there I could crank up.
yeah baby

that was fun, particularly since it talks about going to California
The head unit in both the Toyota and RAM came from the factory with support for Apple CarPlay, Drew. For the Ford, I got a Pioneer head unit that also supports it. Push the CarPlay icon on the radio and a screen comes up with all the CarPlay apps to match those on your phone, some of them being Music, Podcasts, both Google and Apple Maps, Contacts, Calendar, and several others. It's like running the iPhone from a touch screen on the dash, and works fairly well. Even works with the steering wheel buttons for volume level and station change.

Sound was a pretty big challenge in the Promaster. I swapped out the door speakers and it didn't help at all. I had a pair of Klipsch outdoor speakers, so I wired them to the rear speaker outlets and threw them into the loft over the driver and passenger area. Holy cow, they made a huge difference! I still need to tuck the wires away nicely, but they're a permanent solution.

Could it also mean that the tubing was plugged, or that the RV wasn't sitting flat?

68°F and .02 inches rain.

Not a particularly productive day yesterday, but not energy conservation day either.

Guys lost H&F, but not a rout.

Today Sophie had surgery prep with ophthalmologist. Early afternoon so kinda messed with the day.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

golfcart was flat and yes tubing could be kinked at end, but looked fine.
probably would be a good idea to put some compressed air through there and see if good flow at end
also possible I just ran out of water in watering system

old battery tech but still pretty durable
I worked on the nice vinyl seat for a few minutes while the seat was pulled back to get into battery compt.
cleaned up the stained area on inside edge and put down a coat of 303 protectant.

it was in nice shape when I got it, having just been converted and a new utility box rear put on.
but it's too big to make the cut on parking in the new shed.
So it has to live outside with a cover I bought for it.

though I do have the option of keeping the JD mower outside under its existing cover and putting the golf cart
in the shed. Really don't know what will fit, but it will be two out of three. I spec'd six foot double doors at side and end.

83F and partly cloudy @ 14:00, calling for a high of 83F for the day. DP 71F, HU 69%, "feels like" temp = 91F. More misery ...:(

LWS reports 0.82" of precip since midnight.

Got started on cleaning out of planting bed east of the garden yesterday:

IMG_3369 copy.jpg

Made some decent progress.

Cut down weeds and raked up debris and leaves, 5 bucketloads hauled up and added to the compost pile.

Three bucketloads of wood chip mulch hauled back down and placed around the plants where I had gotten things cut down and cleaned up:

IMG_3371 copy.jpg

Two rhododendrons and a bunch of hosta watered and fertilized.

This end of the bed never got planted in hosta so that will be on the menu in the coming days.

Fortunately, we have plenty of hosta to transplant ... ;)

While the area was in shade most of the day it was pretty miserable out there ... with the high temp reaching 96.1F with accompanying high humidity according the closest LWS.

No garden harvesting got done in the afternoon as the predicted clouds never materialized until very late evening when I was finishing up working in the planting bed.

I did manage to gather up half a dozen Crimson Cushion tomatoes earlier since The Woman announced She was planing to make BLT's and fresh corn on the cob for dinner. That was delicious. Had a big salad later as well with lots cut up tomatoes in it.

About 21:00 a Special Weather Statement was issued by the NWS. Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the 3 counties just south of us with the storms headed north.

That ended up dumping 2.02" of rain in around 45 minutes or so.

I think at this point, after the last couple of days of rain, we are probably no longer in "moderate drought" ... (y)

Cloud cover is in the 70% to 80% range this afternoon, with a 48% chance of scattered thunderstorms ... so should be able to get some more done out there.

Need to check the hopper feeder and see if that needs refilled.

Swap out Light Material bucket for the Shrub bucket and dig out some hosta for transplanting. May have some day lilies that need to come out as well.

Might throw the pallet forks on and get that tree that was taken down hauled up to the compost/woodlot.

More clean up on that east planting bed.

Water Buffalo now empty and needs refilled.

Hope everyone is having a decent Friday ... (y)

92 and very humid. Had small rain yesterday hoping for more later today. Need to water to increase chance of rain

Went up to Messick this morning to pick up parts including the mower gearbox. A large 18 wheeler went into the ditch and blocked Hwy 30 completely. Thanks to the GPS was able detour around it. This Messick location had a lot of orange equipment in stock

The gearbox is pretty heavy. Will clean up the mower with the pressure washer before starting on the repair and wait for cooler temperatures

I see the closure on google maps. also see the Cross Keys Diner is no longer open, at the corner of Rt30 and Rt94. Was a good place to eat.
Have only been to Abbottstown messicks once, I usually have them send parts to Bendersville store for pickup, they ship between stores for free.

Apple car play also does Waze.

Got my sermon for sunday about all polished up, slides made.
