Engineer, I'm curious....
why do you have a giant roadgrader?
what do you use it for?
a serious driveway?...

The 503 is no giant, lol. I have run the giants, but that was a while ago. I have used it on my 1000' driveway, but do side jobs with it from time to time.

Good Morning.
Already 89° out there and humid. Not pleasant at all.
Supposed to get thunderstorms this afternoon/evening they’ve been forecast every day for a week and never materialize. It is crazy dry out there. No mowing for sure.

Good news is that I think alligatoritus is completely behind me.

Old folks home continues to progress. Got shower plumbed, kitchen exhaust duct to the outside, doors and windows installed, slow but steady. Moved a thermostat to make my wife happy, added a CAT6 box where she wanted it for the same reason.

Just keep plugging away slow, but steady, should get me to the finish line. Hard to move quickly when it’s this hot and humid.
I have been enjoying Drew’s produce though.

on my original family farm here in New Hope, we had a 1/3 mile long gravel lane.
And being the youngest of three brothers in the 60's, I got driveway duty.
potholes and gravel shoved into the lawn when plowing snow.
hard work, think I wore out a few stone rakes on that road. Did it all by hand.

I used to dream of having something like this. It would tear those potholes a new one.

instead later I had a 16hp Gravely garden tractor with a mid mount scraper blade.
A funny little toy compared to this Galion. But it worked, leveled off that top ridge, and if I went out just after it rained
the hardpan would soften a little and I could actually get a little rolling action on the dirt and gravel.
I thoroughly enjoyed that.
but I sure wanted what you have...

I bet that plows snow really well

marvelous
I cranked this up
have to figure out how to get this to play in rv while windows down
I replaced the truck door speakers but not sure how to get this into head unit.
I have a good Polk soundbar in there I could crank up.
yeah baby

that was fun, particularly since it talks about going to California

they usually use a road grader to plow the gravel road beside me. We used them in Ohio.

Don't forget to play Life is a Highway . Saw Rascal Flatts in concert.

who hasn't covered Route 66? lol That one was a given..

Route 66 is over rated IMO, as far as the number of old buildings still left. Head down US11 and you will see a lot more from that era, many still in use. But we still enjoyed seeing them. Did the IL section down thru Missouri one year, then did the western part another.
