Happy Birthday Ron,
And Good Morning.
It’s 66° going to 90 today. Another dry day.

Yesterday we got 20 yards of concrete poured and finished. I had to keep it misted as it cured. It’s amazing how much heat it generates as it cures, even keeping the surface wet. Also got all the fence lines sprayed, that’s a whole lot easier than a string trimmer.

Today starts with watering the sod and the new concrete, then a trip to the township offices to get paperwork straightened out. They want a deed restriction for the old folks home saying that only family can live there, it can’t be a rental unit, which I agreed to. However it also references a size restriction and stormwater management concerns that I obtained a variance and a waiver for. It’s annoying that I have to pay their solicitor to do lousy work.

Then it’s off to take Zoe to the groomer.
Then I’ll have to figure out what to get into until it’s time to pick Zoe up.

Out the front door at dawn get things done before mercy starts climbing.
Heading to town for critter food afternoon doctor appointment,until sun sarts to set I'll just keep low in cool place.

Headed to 80F today. Close to 100F in a few days, ugh.

Still exposing new pup Rigby to new things .....

Yesterday, for the first time, he saw his reflection in a glass door. Stood and looked at it for a long time trying to figure it out.

Gave him an antler to chew on. He couldn't decide whether to chew it or play with it. So he kept doing both and alternating back and forth.

Somehow found time to work on my motorhome generator. At times it works perfectly, other times won't start, other times starts and runs for a variable amount of time then does sudden unexplained shutdown. It first acted up on our recent camping trip.

I've tried everything ... one guy on Youtube says low oil and topping it off fixed the same problem. Next guy on Youtube says too much oil and draining some out fixed it for him. Others say add a low pressure 12v fuel pump to assist. Aaahhh. I'm about ready to call in a "witch doctor" to remove the evil spirits out of the thing!!

Happy Birthday Ron!

Good morning, the low is 75 and going to a high of 88°F. In the sun it is over 100. Wind SSW 9 mph. 40% chance of rain or T-storms. Partly sunny.

4 fur-babies went out and 1 came back in. I know where the oldest of them is but the two kids, I am not sure.

I got some of my vitamin D this morning already, will get some more later.

The job I was going to haul to this year has started. The junior guy that hauled with me for the past 5 years moved up to my spot and another junior guy is taking over his spot. So far so good, I just got off the phone with him.

Time to get on with my day of doing...nothing.

RNG this may seem unpleasantly familiar
the folks in Ruidoso are down in a canyon and the mountains
on both sides of the town are on fire. They are looking up at fire everywhere.
And if I were a guest at the Inn Of The Mountain Gods,
I'd say the Gods were angry and time to get out of town.
Actually turns out resort is now shut down and being used for evacuees.

many/most of the town is on cots in some local building.
South Fork Fire Dept hopefully getting some mutual aid help
and it's only June...

That storm door took a two man team, the plastic brackets they give to do alignment did not help much. Was surprised how well it went in after removing all the previous installers "shims".
Still a bit fiddly to align to make sure it opened smoothly. Glad the door frame had no rot, just the old storm door.
