Good morning!!!!

76F, partly cloudy, and breezy @ 14:00, calling for a high of ... 75F ...

A little front came through late last night, winds blew but most of the rain stayed north of us. We ended up getting 0.01".

Got another week's worth of meds doled out first thing yesterday.

Nail removed from Kubota tire, thankfully it didn't puncture the tire clear through so no leak ... (y)

Got the screened compost I added to the eastern edge of the garden compacted down with the Cub and the Kubota. Saw one yellowjacket.

Decided to run down to Menards and pick up four more 5 1/2' t posts, grabbed some aluminum wire ties while I was at it.

Woman worked on watering while I was gone.

When I got back I drove the t posts in for 2nd arched trellis while The Woman held each side of the cattle panel back so I wasn't banging into them.

After that I got the panel raised up into position and secured in place while the Woman pulled the small cages on the Sunny Boy tomatoes. Then we put the larger support cages on them.

By that point the Sun had set and we were both tired so we called it a day.

I went to bed late but woke up early this morning, got up for a couple of hours and then decided to head back to bed.

Need to get moving now as daylight is burning.

Hope everyone is having a decent Sunday ... (y)

Ted, of course I am. (y)
I have two nights scheduled at Rt 66 RV park in Edgewood NM.
have a whole open day there to see the local sights if you are into that.
You just have to come pick me up.
sunday 9/29 getting in and all day Monday 9/30. I'd be glad to take you and your wife
out to an early dinner.

RNG, one night scheduled at Flying Flags rv resort in Buellton CA a week earlier
9/23/24 same offer, dinner is on me.

long call from my sister and BIL about route, they like my new one.
Some issue of whether I add another day and go see Grand Canyon.
I'd rather see some ancient Indian dwellings

need to get back to work packing rv. Less yakking, more packing.

Sadly no.
Apparently the only person in the world against this is her Mother who wants her to stay home. Not a very healthy relationship in my mind. We will fund her tuition and books as long as she maintains a 2.5 GPA which may be a stretch, she finished HS with a 2.8.
Still many unknowns about her attending locally as it seems only the Mother has barely researched and I’ve come to believe has her HHUHA. I’m probably the only one with a clue as to cost. When asked how she’d get to school her Mom replied, Uber. When asked how much , $30+/day, to which I replied they didn’t that kind of money ( I still monitor their finances since helping getting them out of debt). Conversation went downhill from there. ☹️
My 2 cents: Maybe the offer should be you pay in Hawaii..Not in NoVa

Back home from the quick Farm trip to deliver a new Land Pride 6' rotary cutter to Dad, and to spend a day trying it out. Brought my broken one back, needs new gearbox. Truck still loaded, will take care of that tomorrow.
Our Preacher broke a leg yesterday making hay.

You could spend your whole trip in Arizona, New Mexico and Utah. You would not see it all.

Good Afternoon,
Well I finally figured out the pressure problem with the pool ! Today I pulled apart the filter canister for the second time. The first time the bottom of my nautilus was filled with nuts that the mice had brought in through the drain hole on the backside bottom of the filter. I put it all back together and was pretty confident that was my pressure problem !
Well it wasn’t ! 😒 Today I started thinking that the pressure is generating at the pump so I pulled the pump housing apart and put pours dozens of half eaten nuts ! 😳 Well that should cure the problem , right ? Well no, I had to pull it apart again and the pipe going from the pump to the control valve for the filter was also pretty well packed with nuts ! Finally I have the proper starting pressure of about 22 lbs ! Hooray ! And then of course my wife doesn’t want me to use snap traps, yeah right honey !

Drew, you might ask Ted, but my neighbor was telling me how interesting Chako Canyon is ! Not sure that is the proper spelling but it sounds very interesting!!

Hope all have a nice Sunday afternoon! 🙏

Maybe you can get yourself a couple of ball bearing mouse traps. Just don't feed them a lot. A hungry cat is a hunting cat.

I have found that a well fed happy healthy cat is an excellent hunter. They like to bring you presents for being so well taken care of. The cat can also be patient and not rush the kill/miss for a quick meal.
