Good Evening Drew,
That is very interesting! I actually was across the River from Bucks County, my BIL had a house along the river and we would take the foot bridge over it to a very upscale restaurant which the name is presently alluding me ! He was on the New Jersey side in an old row house ! Very cool area !

I love looking at fine furniture, and know enough about making it to appreciate the effort that goes into an extravagant piece ! Thanks for that story !

62F temp drop 7 degrees 20 mins heavy down pour about arrive.

Been good putter day did just enough to earn dinner.
Last couple days pollen been heavy enough so house windows are closed,Mrs. sprayed both vehicles less than half hours.

Interesting moth.

Picked up new Land pride rotary mower, got it set up on tractor and mowed 1 1/2 hrs. Cuts nice

Well...last week I slipped on steps. From old part of house to addition added 30 years ago there are 3 steps down to tile on concrete floor. Today wife had Dr. appointment, we have same Dr. and had her look at foot, still swollen. Orthopedic center a mile away took X-rays and fitted me with a boot.
In picture you see steps. I just measured & first is 5.25" high, second 5.75", third 6.25" then 1/2" to dining room hardwood floor.
We've fallen before & I'll have to fix them properly.
X-ray showed bone crack lengthwise which is why foot turned black from blood! Ortho said it's healing ok.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 48° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 73° with good chance of afternoon rain. Windows are back to crystal clear. Easy job to do. All windows are at ground level. Helped neighbor put up swing for his daughter. When I returned home. Mowed grass. It was a chilly day. Needed a jacket most of the day. Got everything ready to do cement work on front pole barn door today.

Fuddy, those steps could use a hand rail? Hope you foot heals quickly.

good early morning all, woke up wide awake, enjoying first cup of coffee

that must be pine pollen getting Thomas, I have to hose down my car almost daily also

off delivering the flower planter I built for a friend this morning, then continuing on to nursing home
in Doylestown to visit MIL, take her some chocolates I got for her yesterday at good local shop.
hand dipped mints and oreos. I got a small box of oreos for myself and put them in the freezer. Yum.

when I get home, time to turn on the rv and start loading stuff for Monday's trip. Just a short one so I can live out of a
duffel bag. I also have to clean out my old laptop, friend coming tomorrow morning who I'm giving it to.

should be about 80 today, very nice day, nice summer weekend
with a double dose of pollen...

My problem is early to bed, early to rise. Going to bed late means less sleep. Because I will be up at 4am regardless of when I went to bed.

has anyone been to the San Diego Zoo and is it worth the effort?
rv places there are super expensive, plus admission, plus uber both ways, 55 bucks to rent a
scooter, this is like a day in Disneyworld...

St Louis zoo is supposed to be very good also, and free. That might be an alternative.
if I skip San Diego I can head East sooner in California
