El Nino is apparently turning into La Nina, representing a periodic cooling of waters in Pacific
expected result is warmer weather for central and Eastern US.
this is good news for some South American cities that are running out of water, apparently La Nina
brings them wetter weather.

the real question is whether La Nina will bring Scootr and Ted any more rain
or will it get even drier
La Nina also brings wetter weather to Australia and, especially, the East coast of Tasmania... we've had a very dry Spring/Summer here (despite that very localised 'rain bomb' a few weeks ago).

The hay season (the State only gets one 'cut') has been dire, with most of the fodder going to cattle & sheep this Winter. The horsey community are scrambling to get enough, sometimes two-year-old rounds/squares are all that's available.

But that's the way of the world, eh? What's good/great for some is terrible for others. The weatherguessers still say that an official La Nina is a couple of months away.

Right, I'm back (1500) from the meeting in Ross, so, good (Saturday) arvo. The overnight Low was 7.4C and it's presently 18.6C (down from 20C). Beautiful day, calm & partly cloudy.

Really nothing to report. A good meeting and there were no twits on the road, there & back.

Friday' s paddock transfer, timing wise, was great as the 'Mad Agisting Horse Woman' came over @ 1230, so we did the transfer then. Which left me with plenty of time to get some "Tractor Fun" in cleaning up Paddock #2.

That's about it, take care all.

Poured first cup of coffee. 39° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 59° with plenty of sun and some winds. Another .31" rain yesterday. Working in shop got me several small projects done. Now need to cleanup shop and put tools away. Time to start weeding gardens. Most weeds are easy to pull after latest rains.

Everyone stay well and safe.

Good Morning All.

Good morning !

Weekend finally.
+8 ... + 10 C / 50 F. Something in between heavy fog and light rain. Nic. I like that "frogs weather" :)

Didnt check in for a while. As a lot of nice things happened, I will bring yesterday as example
0800 - 0900 - Office errands
0900 went to logistics company to collect my new car. :cool:
They refused to deliver to my door, but that's fine as they are literally 2 mi from me
From logistics made it straight to our DOT or DMV. I don't know which ones is the one in charge for license plates. For us it is CSDD :)
from that short ride already can tell new mod 3 is really big step forward. Well done, Tesla !
1100 went to my goth-barber.
1200 went to "saw doctor" with blade from firewood processor. D700 mm / 27 inch blade. It have seen life recently.... Even if we had not skidded logs but transported in "wagon". Anyway, blade will be as new at Tuesday. 50 €
1300 went to school, brought kids back to home
1400 went to office. meet welder there, paid him 100. at morning have called welder to make gates for kids football (soccer I guess for you).

Tuesday twins had their 11 birthday. At that day wasn't anything big, but today they are organizing party at home. 6 boys are coming. Wife already nervous 🤯
Gate had to be ready for today and they are. Solid 2 in steel pipes. From old gas lines, that's why yellow. ;)
Boys are supper happy. Later we will repaint them white. Paint job has to be done with feng-shui, with brushing rust, priming, etc
1500 had extended meeting with customer and one supplier. Calibrating line doesnt fit in building very well. To me that line will fit better if flipped by 180 degr. But that will create some inter-logistics issues. So have to choose from bad to very-bad
1700 at office loaded gates on trailer and brought home, put them in backyard. Went back to office to drop trailer there
1800 meet my technician. He had finished installation of painting machine. Went not very smooth, but job is done. That is kinda talkative guy. As haven't seen him for a week, had to spend an hour with him
2100 glass of wine (ok, 2😁 ) and bed

~~~~~~~~~
For today - have to help a bit to boys. have to look for what robot lawn mower is doing. I am afraid, despite no big plans no energy conservation today
That's about it. Have a nice weekend !
Good morning, the low temp is 32 and going to a high of 50°F. Wind WNW 14 gusting to 25 mph. Snow now, changing over to rain then clearing.
I will maybe do something with the posts for the hose reel today, after it stops raining. I have to see if I have any all thread laying around.
Pictures of the tank will come later after the rain stops.
Nice looking blue bird, Ron.
Have a safe day all
good morning all
cooler windy morning, 47 going to 57 today with rain this morning.
lots of wind today, blustery.
Buppies, you had me looking at weather report, geez four nights in low 40's ahead, at least not 30's.
quiet day planned, then dinner tonight with 10 other gardeners for the small private school I'm involved with.
some of these ladies have forgotten more than I know, rattling off the latin for this and that.
I forget the names as soon as I buy them. I'm focused on color, not names, plus my memory is clearly getting worse anyway.
I made up a full tray of plants to take with me as party favors, including recently planted corkscrew toothache plants.
first time at one of these gardening parties, called another guy and made sure he was wearing jeans and not dressing up.
Have no idea how seriously these folks take themselves...
when I lived in NC I was the only guy actively gardening in a 60 person club. So I have some experience with this, pretty sure I will be cutting out
early because it will be too noisy in there with ten women yacking away. Should be interesting.
Bill, good luck with that tank. I think you are the last of us to still get snow
Thomas, we rake, we rake, we rake
darned wind keeps pruning and we keep picking up
