Good afternoon.
60° and rained on and off throughout the day. More on the way.

Yesterday’s Costco run filled the back of the Prius and left my wallet $330 lighter.
Spent the rest of the day in the shop.

Spent pretty much the whole day in the shop again today. Got the plasma table just about finished, ran a program just to drive the torch all around and explore the full extents so I could check my cable management.
So far, so good. Added a desiccant dryer and another filter to the air supply to it.

Still haven’t cut anything, but getting close. Ive connected the voltage divider and trigger controls from my plasma cutter, but I’ve got to verify the Z axis operations. It works manually, if i send a command to the stepper motor.
It’s supposed to touch the work, and then set itself to a selected cut distance. Then it will monitor the arc voltage and use that as a height reference to maintain the torch height across an uneven or warped sheet.

Playing music tonight, I put dinner for the boys in the crock pot.

Good Afternoon,
Pindar Vineyard, Southhold, LI, Ny.

Bill, curious how you toughen gums ?

Have a good afternoon !!
I toughened mine by eating pizza first and then the crust. BUT keep in mind that I was stoned most of the time when I did it.
If you eat pizza today and raise blisters on them, then go easy until the blisters are gone then attack them again. Without teeth your stomach acid will get stronger, because you don't have the teeth to masticate the food. If you cut up your food small enough, you can swallow it whole and the acid in your stomach will do the rest. It took me almost a year before I could gum my way through a steak, actually chewing it. lol
I can eat walnuts and have been for the past 40 years. I cannot eat peanuts mostly because my gums don't meet on the sides.
My Grandmother toughened hers by chewing Chiclets chewing gum for 6 months before she got her falsies.

Drew and txdon, it is A-holes like him that make a bad name for the rest of the truck drivers.

The 'new Canadian' truck driver that killed 16 kids up here in Saskatchewan was sentenced to 16 years in the bucket and he is out after 8. Now he is fighting extradition. The rules are that if you are charged and convicted of a criminal offense AND are a 'landed immigrant' you go back to wherever you came from. Them are the rules and you agreed to them when you got here, Mr. immigrant. Bye, bye.

Mostly, rock is 2” below top of slab so it would be in the slab and cause weak point if left, but if I can crack 3” off I’d leave it under the slab. Highly doubt I’ll ever pour concrete though.

Got coffee brewing. 38° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 68° with mix of sun and clouds. Cleaned up rocks found in field and delivered to neighbor. Valve on tractor had a small leak. Had to remove tractor to replace a bad fitting. Replaced and put back on tractor. Like almost everything these days took much more time than I planned. Did get mower out of trailer and got it power washed. When cleaned put it on set of HD sawhorses. Its ready to start lube and sharpening of blades today. First thing will be taking neighbor to airport.

Everyone stay safe and well.

Good Morning All.
Glad the mower is going.

Good morning from here in Mont Belvieu, TX. The wife and are going to do some shredding around the deer lease today while it's still cooler in the morning. Enjoy your day.
Welcome pardner.

Afternoon all;
Only 55F here today after breaking 70 yesterday plus rainy.
Finally quit procrastinating and did our taxes today, got bit with an under payment penalty from the bureaucratic leeches. Done with that garbage for awhile at least.
Yard is starting to green up and a person could walk around on it yesterday without sinking in and leaving foot prints so of course it decided to rain for the next 2-3 days.
Noticed a flat tire on F2000 mower so have to check it out sooner than later.
All take care
Would that be state or Federal?

66°F and .13 inches rain. A rainy morning to start.

Guys won H&F. Looking back it was pretty even with the guys winning just 1 night more than the gals.

Need to go into town today. Diesel refill, brewery refill, some other errands.

Had a disheartening email from LS dealer. I had noticed a new tractor sitting at dealership so suggested that as they couldn’t find problem with mine maybe a trade. Turns out to be an MT235HE with loader. OK, a step down, but maybe so asked price. Quote was over $46k, no trade. . That’s almost 20k more than my XR4140. Guess I shouldn’t have been so surprised as this is same dealer that quoted more for MT125 than Sophie’s BX2380. Sure hope they find my problem

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
David, that almost sounds like a ripoff. Are you saying they don't want your tractor in trade? Is your tractor under any kind of warranty still? I may have missed it, but what is wrong with it and why can't they fix it? Maybe a good chance that someone on this board can help get it running right. I hope you get things figured out. I would sell it myself outright. Then go buy what you want.
some trucker in Texas was having a bad day this morning
apparently intentionally drove his 18 wheeler loaded with rebar
into the Dept Public Safety building in Denham. Hurt a bunch of people doing it.
sure hope he isn't driving anytime soon
criminal act says the sheriff.

might not be a good idea to flip off that trucker next time
Authorities arrested the driver, whom a local official said was denied a commercial driver’s license from the Brenham DPS station.
One of the critically injured has died from the Brenham DPS office. He will be in prison for a while. He stole the truck and it was intentional. Brenham is about 35 miles from Kyle.
Horrible Crime. Sad day. So I was off today, and was going to Navasota for my son's first tennis games. This took us thru Brenham. I usually turn off on the loop around the north side of Brenham, but I took the main hwy 290 thru town and we drove right past this tragedy. Imagine driving by, and seeing it with all our mouths aghast. First thing that came to my mind, there is no way someone could accidentally wreck that perfectly into the front doors of the DPS building. We all agreed and wondered maybe terrorism? Nah, not a big enough target. Then we later found out from an off duty EMS driver who heard it all on the radios. I just wish there had been a couple of armed Troopers there. Maybe there were. Maybe like us, they thought it was an accident for the first time the truck hit. I believe he hit it again a 2nd time.

My thoughts then figured some jack leg didn't get enough spankings when he didn't get what he wanted when he was a kid...sure enough. Didn't get his CDL yesterday, stole an 18 wheeler and rammed in the front doors.

My son says some kids at school, "don't even try" and yet they still get socially promoted. Look up standardized testing if you want to see for yourself.

Despite all this, I still believe that society must collectively pitch in to educate our youth....but they need to bring back corporal punishment, spankings in front of the classroom too.

Anyway, my son won the 8th grade singles competition (2 opponents). Still such a beginner. He can put some decent top spin on his forehand, while the other kids are playing "tap" ball, just trying to get it back over the net. But he needs much practice....too many unforced errors.

He was also chosen as the best student in the school for this month.

So many posts to compliment and comment on, with beautiful pictures.

Popgadget, the voltage height sensing is what we are having problems with. I thought we had it figured out, with a special grounding cable from the material to the sensing box. It is working somewhat, but not like it is supposed to. Hope you have a good time with your new machine.

Prayers for our team, especially those who are hurting.
