Thoughts and prayers for your friend, Kyle.

Our recently widowed friend came to HH yesterday. He and his wife were like charter members. Good to see him smile and relax. He commented that these past 3 months had been tough.

10 years ago Txdon and I went to MIKIM’s (RIP) place to tryout different grapples for clearing woods and fields at Dons place. Fun mini get together.

Hi Ron, I seem to remember that, aleast a bunch of the guys down there ! MIKIM, Harv, Jinman , and of course Bird ! Doesn’t seem that long ago, but I guess I have been here 20 years on TBN ! Must have been a good time !

Today I got the old rusty lathe cleaned up and repainted the black base ! I only need the lathe for the front legs,but I still need to build a base for it ! So a bunch of work just for the front legs !

Hopefully I will get it all done before I am in a nursing home !

First Texas get together that I attended was in 2005 at Jinman’s. Next one was at Txdon‘s. In 2007 we met at Eddie Walkers. For the next 10 years we visited the people we met at those get togethers on our trips to and from spending winter in the southwest.

Going to renew license

O'Keeffe the painter as well as many others were shared by wife with the kids. Most have long forgotten that but daughter remembers and have some of her reproductions. 44 million for a painting sold in 2014. This and many other artist were regular conversations when the kids grew up. The NM paintings that were a small part of her life are amazing

You should see the O'Keefe museum/house out here in Abiquiu NM. Lots of her work displayed.

Wife is making some small latkes for dinner supplement with horseradish mixed in. Should be good. Using potato low in carb in small amount for it grated.

Latkes! One of my favorite foods! Wonder how much it would cost for overnight air? Paul? Need any long distance flight time?
