thanks for input on mower. No holes in stabilizers, just screw type, and I'm four inches short or two per side. Lou's idea of welding a larger bracket would work perfectly, was hoping LP made such an item but Kubota dealer said no.
I'm going to take the oem mower weldments down to local welder and see what they can do. Clearly this tractor does not have enough
adjustment range on the stabilizers. New Bush Hog finish mower is very expensive, like the LP.

Drew, there are some very good after market stabilizers available. You should consider correcting that. It may just be a case of adding length to what you have? Have you checked with your MF dealer? Screw type stabilizers seem out of place, on a high end tractor?

I think I see something, in your picture. Can you get good pictures of your stabilizers and of your lower lift arms? The angle looks all wrong on your lift arms?

IMHO, I think if you resolve the tractor end, you’ll save all the implement jury rigging.

I have tiny flowers blooming and one that looks like a boll of cotton, no idea what any of it is.

Rick, thanks, I'd do it now but need to stay by phone, guy coming to look at my Kubota F mower to buy. Right now that's my priority...
I'll take pics. My neighbor and I took those oem stabilizers apart, flipped them around, did everything possible with them and still off by four inches. And their attachment points look custom, embedded parts fitting into each other, etc. Pics will show this. Dealer was surprised too they would not adjust in further but he has little experience with this model tractor, it being new.

Prayers for all and prayers for buckeyefarmers sons classmates family in the loss of love one

Trip back yesterday reminds me why I live where I do I64 from VaBeach to Richmond bumper to bumper same from Charlottesville to I81 so many cars felt like I was in a nascar race
I remember driving that stretch of I64 to newport news back in the early 80s, with no traffic, and exits with gas stations were few.

guy just left with my Kubota F mower after handing me a big pile of 100 dollar bills. Hotfooted them down to bank. Very nice father/son
combo, son runs landscaping business and both were very mechanical. They saw how clean I had it, ran it for all of three minutes, never even turned on blades, and said it was fine and didn't try to dicker. Thank you very much, my price he knew was very fair. They know more than I do about mowers... Of course I did see his trailer tires were low and since he was pulling a one ton trailer with more than a ton on it, I brought my air tank up and pumped up his tires. Not a trailer they use a lot but surprised they drove it like that, 35 pounds in 55 pound tires. Last thing I wanted for them was to blow a tire and flip the mower on the way home.

got promising news from dealer: I just went out and looked at a 4708 I have on the yard and they are pin adjustable and I moved them in to about 26 which is cat 1. He's going to try to take the stabilizers off the 4708 and put them on mine, would fix everything. I sent these pics to him. I guess buying the least expensive version didn't get me the nice stabilizers... would be nice to have an easy fix. Btw, there aren't any more holes under that cover, just the one at the end, all the adjustment is in the threading.

Are both ends of the adjustment threaded? If they are I would say it is not set up properly.

I think you’re right. If both ends are threaded, he is losing the adjustment to go inwards. Sort of like when you have a top link that is threaded all out or all in on one side.

My massey top link is threaded both ends, each end threaded different so both ends go out or in then you turn it. Sway control is the same way, i screw it to tighten or loosen.
