I have been under the impression that CPR was Canadian Pacific Railway.
What’s the difference between the Canadian Pacific Railway and AmTrak?

————-

The Canadian Pacific Railway is CPR.

AmTrak Needs CPR.

Good morning! Low of 27° heading to 51°, sunny light breezes. 90% of the snow is gone already.... not complaining at all.

More work on the deck frames later, after running some errands in town.

Still need to plan on a trip up to the sawmill.....

The trash can is overflowing..... they didn't pick up last week. A message on the service said they were behind a day because of the weather..... and will "catch up" in a day or two....
NOT! --- they still haven't picked up since last Wednesday. Another phone call may be in order today.....

I hope everyone has a great day and start to the week!

My BP is way up there. Spent almost 2 hours on phone with Insurance and Dr’s accounting people. After talk with insurance people. determined that Dr. Got paid. But put money paid for Shingles shot in to paying for annual physical. Leaving Shingles shot unpaid. This is the only time I have a billing problem for many years. Dr wants me to pay bill. Then ask for refund from insurance. Not going to happen. I feel for Riptides having to constantly have to deal with this kind of stuff.

Too many times to count..... but that's just part of the profession (paramedic). That one "save" makes up for all the losses....
I have never had give CPR. Did take a couple of Red Cross courses with training for it. Not sure I could do it today. But if that was only option. I would give it a try.

good progress made
toilet back in place, simple clamp hookup, doubled up, with enough slack to pull the toilet out next time to work on it.
not going to test it, system drained
going back out after lunch to caulk around the edges

65°f and .8 inches rain. Today forecast to be drier.

Easy day yesterday. Indoors, some admin stuff. Wrote the Christmas checks.

Generator ran some during the night. Hopefully I can determine how long and when. Might have to tweak my settings a bit more.

Happy Hour being hosted by a neighbor. Instead of potluck she intends to provide the food. But she talked me into making a salmon, shrimp soup. She provided the ingredients.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

BTDT. Had Johns Hopkins turn one over to a collection agency. We had paid and didn't owe anything, but they sure thought we owed them... PITA to sort out.

nice to leave rv with everything put away and bathroom all shiny and clean.

39 going to 58. Hoping for sunshine. Stayed damp all day yesterday.

Saw the son and family off after a nice breakfast and pour overs for everyone. Quiet now.

Found videos and photos of two thru-hikers that passed through the 11,000 acre wildfire area, now that the AT is reopened. Looks in much better shape than I thought. Also read the forest service preliminary report. Seems the wind pushed the fire so fast it only had time to burn off the leaves and ground clutter in that area. Hoping most trees will likely survive. Will ultimately make for a much healthier forest.
Pine trees down here did not survive similar situation.

The appointment with the cardio specialist Dr went well. He said you must be eating something right because both of your numbers are good. To wife he said you are not even in the pre diabetic range which is unusual these days given your age. Next appointment in a year.
Outstanding!!!! (y)

Snow removal went better than I thought it would and rear blade on Kubota (y) but with ground not being frozen I'll have extra lawn raking come spring. :(
While cleaning roofs shoveling walks weight of snow on the limbs/branches did lot pruning  but never lost power as many have.

Plans for the evening...after dinner nest into recliner watch MNF until eye lids get heavy.

Enjoy your evening all.
