I used to go to the Bitter End in Austin, before they had a fire and closed down. They had some great craft brews. Some of the best I've ever drank. It was closed for good. Now I'm seeing one on maps in Dallas, and they are calling it a "Hip Oyster Bar"....
Hope they have a good time and wear some hearing protection! Huh what?

so I know what your problem is, whoever installed it ruined
the threads on the plastic part that is built into the toilet. Will try to put back in but will bring a spare just in case.

long drive, 300 mile day, but big highways. Busy, busy roads; not as bad as 95 but still jammed in areas.
I did a good thing in deciding to take the beltway around Charlotte since google maps that morning showed a lot of red where the interstate goes right through the middle of town. So I went around and it was fine. When I crossed over the road I avoided, it was a huge parking lot. Dodged a big one.
got in, rv covered in black crud, I'm sure it's truck tire rubber worn off.
So I washed the rv, good exercise, now maybe a nap
filled up with regular Exxon at 2.89

I've stayed at this rv campground before and liked the site.
don't like the mile long dirt road to get in here, will leave very slowly tomorrow for Savannah. Short day tomorrow, today was the long haul.
I'm hoping to get in early enough tomorrow to finally take my e bike for a ride.

Drew, can you remove that whole piece with cross threaded fitting? Possibly replaceable? If removable maybe take into a plumbing/hardware store and ask for help. If NPT possibly can a metal fitting to dress a bit, enough to get proper alignment.

yes the part is replaceable, he is bringing a new one
inlet valve for Dometic 320. He kept calling it a valve...
this is no 5 dollar part I'm afraid. But he is getting one just in case he needs it.
I think yesterday's perhaps unmannerly driving on my part in the gulches and switchbacks near whatever river I was near was enough to jar this improperly installed part loose.
I have this sinking feeling he is going to pull the whole thing out.
Toilet is custom fitted and caulked with matching taupe caulk.
Guy who screwed up this fitting was a much better carpenter than a plumber.
and that likely means uninstalling the bidet seat, I'm sure he will find some objection to it being there. ??

Breakdown money for little guys like this who don't have a cc machine with them.
when I opened the outside compartment this morning while it was still dark out, trying to get an early start, using my phone light, and there was the tell tale drips from above. Right under the toilet.
I have to get this fixed 100 percent and I'll worry about cosmetics later.
