More resting after work, not getting much done around the house, bad night again.

Neighbor who put house up for sale last week has a pending sign out, he asked double what we paid for our house. Same house size and land. Crazy market.
So many less trees.

Home prices are nuts way too expensive

Depends on the market location. No? Around me it looks expensive, but then twenty years ago, "at the height" of the real estate boom, it was expensive. I recall selling for a fortune and turning around and buying at that fortune. LOL.

Nice day to drive BEF

Yes, easy drive down to Mother in Law today. We will stop in New Market at the Southern Kitchen for supper, one of the old Rt11 diners that’s been there a long time.

Tomorrow will make a quick stop at our lot on our way to visit other son.
Still want to meet up with you sometime.

The redness was not near the incision only where adhesive was touching the skin. I also had three medical people look at it. Apparently the adhesive formula on bandages has changed and many many people are reporting the same redness/blisters that I experienced where the adhesive touches the skin. On discharge they loaded me up with antibiotics via IV and then 4 pills a day for 10 days.

I got the bill for the new knee: $189,000. Medicare paid $13K and I was responsible for $40. Not a money making business with all the people and equipment involved, no wonder he has to do 6 a day twice a week.

Good morning! 71˚F heading to the mid 80s, partly cloudy South breeze.

Heading to the neighborhood fitness center this morning to ride the bike and a few leg strengthening exercises. My real PT starts tomorrow about 25 miles away.

Apparently my call to corporate complaining about their canceling my appointments during the most critical time in my healing process to ward off scar tissue paid off and they squeezed me in at their other towns facilities. I still can't figure out why they made my appointments during the PT's (his) maternity leave they had to have know months in advance - their big mistake which I will remember during any surveys. I will probably have several Physical Therapists and no continuity, but I will make it work for the best possible healing/recovery outcome for me.

Don are those figures typos? They don’t add up. How much came out of your pocket, and was there some sort of insurance to cover the rest?

As you know, the surgery will be free for me up here in Canada, but I am curious about your insurance system.

Trip to Costco a success. $$ Damage could have been worse, but they were out of a couple items on the list.

A bit cloudy and overcast. I’d gladly take getting rained out this morning but highest probability only 27% at 10AM then sunny. Need a couple hours of dry.

Friends coming over dinner this afternoon. Picked up the stuffed salmon at Costco. One of their Apple pies also snuck into the cart. Might be paired with some vanilla ice cream that’s in the freezer.

My wife is extraordinarily fond of the Apple Fritters sold at Giant Food. I'd swear they just jump off the shelf into her cart.

the road over to Penhook through Roanoke was very pretty.
campground is very nice, owners walked over to greet me.
