Morning all!
47 today with a windy 49 for a high.
Rained all day yesterday so I hid out in the woodshop. Pics attached.
New laptop arrived Monday. What a pain moving everything over from the old one! Took a few hours to get accustomed to Windows 11.
New glasses are on order. Eye shop couldn't repair the old ones so I super glued the lens back in place. Good enough for use till the new one show up.
Got the tractor all serviced and ready for the upcoming season. I did notice the cutting edge on the bucket is worn almost fully. Will call the dealer tm. to see about replacement. I don't think it will last the winter.
Nothing going on medically. Good news for us.
To wet outside for leaf patrol so it looks like feet up and enjoy time.
Might catalog and prepare some of the items I am bringing to sell at the craft show. See what the day brings.
Hope everyone stay safe and healthy!
More fun with seashells and a little torch work too.

Outstanding work!

68°F and .01 inches rain, not nearly enough.

Very pleased with reconfigured network. Nice strong signal at all test locations. Worth the effort.

No big plans for the day. Watch some football and energy conservation. Depending on feedback from the kids I may tweak their new budget spreadsheet. The major informational changes take place come the new year, but I want the behind the screen functions working to bridge now until then. Unfortunately neither has shown much interest in doing the work.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Good Morning
It’s 47 with a high of 52 on tap for today. Partly cloudy and breezy, no rain.

Yesterday started with driving to Doylestown and taking my daughter out to breakfast. She just got home from work as the ER charge nurse at a large hospital in Wynnewood.
After that it was into the shop were I made decent progress, got all th e internal bracing in, they’re ready to round over all the edges and finish sand.

When I came back from lunch, I decided it was dry enough to mow, so I got the tractor out and backed up to the mower, only to find a flat tire. Fortunately, I was able to jack it up and inflate it, it seems to hold air just fine. Go figure. Got everything mowed, leaves are getting some color and departing the trees.

All this car talk made me dig up a picture of me in my first car, unfortunately the exhaust pipes aren’t in the picture.

Not sure what year that was, but guessing early 50’s.

Today will start with a bowl of Special K Red Berries, then a good run for Zoe before heading into the shop.
My oldest brother had a car like that. Amazed how fast you can build those speakers.

Good Afternoon Ken,
Yes, Trier was a wonderful place to visit along with all the other small towns and cities along the Moselle, the Mainz and of course the Rhine !
I would love to return to Germany again some day, my German is much better now than it was in 2018 ! Maybe go north to Hamburg or ,,,,,

So we put this up for the grand kids the other day, nothing extravagant like what you posted Ken, but the kids seem to love it ! 😊

not a successful morning, frustrating actually
rv's hydraulics picked up the front nicely, took off the oem unit, went
to install the new one and bracket installs under the existing sway bar.
Using same bolts that came out, going back in, one would only go half way.
??
I asked to make sure they didn't have bolts switched, no.
tried again. And again. very strange.
I don't have a tap and die set any more so the job stopped at this point.
Have to bring a tap back for the bolt. There was zero damage to the bolt.
we even took everything off and tried the bolt in the hole all by itself. Nope, would not
go back in. BIL's son will come back after work this week with a tap and will install.
supposed to be super easy. Bolt unscrews vertically so nothing fell in the hole...

still windy out, nice day though
That would be quite aggravating.

Good (Monday) morning. Overnight Low of 6.9C and it's presently 20.6C, somewhat overcast with a slight breeze. There was 10.7mm in the gauge @ 0900.

A lovely on&off rainy day yesterday and the tanks are full. I'll probably need to put a fire on in the woodheater Wednesday, for a few days.

Looking forward to a quiet week of little 'projects' around the property. It's still too early to consider mowing but larger sticks still need collecting.

That's about it, take care all.

Good evening! Auction is over. I got over bided. But that's ok would not be able to pick up the stuff for a month and we really did not need it. Hope Kyle and Kilroy got the high bid. Bids were flying toward the end.

Productive day got a good back-up buyer for Mom's place if cousin wavers. No need for a realtor just an appraiser a lawyer and a title company. I think the appraiser was the absolute best investment it stopped any haggling.

Good Evening Frits,
One of my favorite stops over there was Praque ! We did a traditional country style dinner on a farm that was loads of fun !

The thing that really stood out for me was an evening in Praque Square at night, absolutely beautiful !

David, I would think that ski school in Austria would be the absolute best experience!!

Thanks for the birthday wishes.
Good worship, but an hour long computer update messed up recording and streaming. Took several reboots to get things working. Hate MS.
Lunch at the usual place, where everyone sang happy birthday to me.
Tonight after worship was our last hot dog roast for the year, held inside instead of out under the tent.
Trees in the front turning nice. Sure was windy today.

Oh, it was. Wife, son, and I in different classes, then free skiing in afternoon. We belonged to the Heidelberg International Ski Club. Mostly US/Nato military and America/German civilians that worked with us. I think we were largest ski club in Germany with our own certified ski patrol and instructors. We’d ski about 25 days a season, 1 week school, another week 3 Valleys in France plus weekends. 3 Valleys was a drive trip, but others were bus trips, those marvelous German buses. We’d leave out Friday afternoon about 5, dinner on the bus provided by the club/ Trip Captain, ski all weekend. Would leave ski area late Sunday afternoon, continue to party on the bus and usually get home midnight or later. Great trips, great times.

Interesting aside. Never skied before Germany, haven’t skied since.
