Up early today. Getting some work done in preparation for going to the eye doctor again this AM. They will do some serious analyzing on the next eye for cataract removal and lens implant in November after I return from FL to celebrate Mom's 100th birthday. Her secret to a long life might be religion and red wine. ;)
Live long and prosper everybody.

I keep wanting to pull into a truck weight scale stop but fear I will clog up the line doing something stupid.
Knowing weight per corner is super helpful.
I always try to keep all heavy stuff down low and since rv doesn't have a great deal of storage, hard to overdo it.

my rv tire pressure climbs almost ten pounds when tires are hot. Is that normal?
They are set at 75 front, 80 rear when cold, and those rears run 88 or 89 per the tpms gauge when hot.
more than ten percent over max on side of tire. ??
Interesting, fronts don't get as hot. More cooling air and more load on rears I assume.
I would think inner rear tires would get hottest.

hopefully tires are made with far greater tolerances than 10 percent.
But you have to start out at the right pressure.
Remember the Ford Explorers with the Firestone tires that the factory sent out at 26psi for a nice ride?
boy did that cost them money
Shortly thereafter I think most passenger tires went to 35 psi.

Billy, incredible photos. Is this near your home?

While H****s sends over 3500 rockets, they are saying if one Israeli rocket hits, they will execute. The only easy way I see this ending, is with cell phones getting traced to locations. Also, what if they everyday average Palestinians start shooting the terrorists in their midst, and stack the bodies near the border? (Not likely to happen, but if I were one, and didn't want an imminent invasion, I would consider it.) My guess is that many of the terrorists are from other nations, and not normal citizens.

Many of the weapons used, were probably left over from Afghanistan pullout.

There are also reports of items making their way from Ukraine to points south..

Good morning, the low temp is 42 and going to a high of 50°F. Wind SW 15 mph. Showers.

Today the plumber is supposed to be coming back to do the sink drain. This is the same plumber we had come in when we did the bathroom rebuild in 2012.

After the plumber leaves, then it will be time to take all the refrozen stuff out of the freezer and box it up for the bears at the dump. There is about $1,000.oo worth of meat and other frozen stuff. Hope the bears appreciate it.

Gotta make an appointment with the garage to swap my summer tires for snows on the Journey.Maybe they can find the time to fix the info center in the dash, too. When I parked it at work in June the back up camera didn't work, now it works but the radio and disk player don't work. With no radio I don't have the hands free function of my phone, which I really miss.

It is too wet to cut the grass, but it isn't too wet to put in the last couple of buckets of firewood. Maybe that will get done today.

I tried something new when stuffing the chicken. I Cleaned and scored the skin of a sweet potato and shoved that into the cavity and sewed it up with meat skewers. Even though the chicken only got 50 minutes into a 1.5 hour cook, and got to rest for 5 hours (no electricity) then resumed cooking it turned out great! The white meat (which I usually don't like due to being too dry) was moist and tender, almost melt in your mouth with just a very faint hint of sweet potato. The sweet potato was good to the point that I ate the skin, too. For greens we occasionally pick up some coleslaw at the grocery store and they make a good oil and vinegar slaw. Had a pound of that, too. No dessert.

The cats had the wings.

It was a good scoff.

You guys/gals have a safe day

Good Morning
It’s 45 with a high of 60 today. Another dry day.

I have been quite busy the last week, trying to get projects wrapped up, haven’t found the time to post here for a few days.

Speakers are coming down the home stretch, Thursday was the ETA I gave when I took the orders.

When I walked passed my POE switch cameras and access points the other day, I thought about the rats nest that David posted. It’s pretty near impossible to keep it neat no matter how hard you try.

Last few days I’ve been seeing coyotes, not sure how the alpacas would fare against them, but I do know how the coyotes would fare against a 12ga. Hopefully I won’t have to complete that experiment.

This morning I’m supposed to help build a small wall on the windward end of the shelter at the RC club field, that should go pretty quickly. Then I’ve got to get the mowing done, and then start assembling speakers if the finish has cured sufficiently.

Another picture in passing, Zoe will be one year old in a couple of weeks, she sure feels at home watching Jeopardy with Erica.

Still learning about the Prius Prime, need to try the automatic parking, I scheduled a charge for this morning with a “climate prep”. That will run the heat pump to bring the cabin to the set temperature for the scheduled departure time, as well as have the charge completed, all with power from the house. I just have to remember to see if it worked, as I am taking the KubVan this morning.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

45.0F going to low 70e, sunny day all day.

Running around tasks successful, picked up 2 sacks of cabbage for chickens and one box of sweet potatoes for us.

Chiney and stove got swept and cleaned, test fired it last night successfully, HVAC did not come on overnight or so far this morning 😁👍

Chiro visit this morning, followed by weigh-in and some admin tasks in town, then Bailey will go up to woodlot because it didn’t happen yesterday and ahe is highly disappointed in us… Mrs got involved in Halloween decorating and the afternoon slipped by…

I hope everyone has a happy healthy safe blessed day!

Here is a picture of a tractor model that I worked on many years ago during my apprentice years. It is a two stroke single cylinder diesel engine started by hand by rotating the flywheel. Lots of low end torque

What, no pistol cartridge start?

I always get a warm fussy feeling when I see an engine started like that!
