Drew, glad you made it. Sure don’t envy driving that area. We have to go back next June for granddaughters HS graduation and not looking forward to the traffic.

Did the rounds of thrifts and antique emporia, got some good deals, then found an anvil that rings beautifully and was “reasonably” priced, and then further discounted because of paying cash. Final price worked out to $3.65/lb —— 137lb for $500.

I am going to cut a round from one of the logs stacked in my driveway, to mount the anvil on.

I just made a stencil outlined off the base (which is solid, not hollow, so it isn’t suitable for launching, but it could be a launchpad…) so I can carve a recess for it to sit in:

Busy day at work...whew.
I turn the garden soil over yesterday but I guess not good enough,Mrs. said 3 fox pups were in the garden digging and the dirt was flying as the bark about half an hour...wish she got it on video...those little buggers sure can dig deep.

Plans for the evening just going to numb it.

Good (Wednesday) morning. Overnight Low of 3.4C and it's presently 18.6C, fairly clear & calm. Woodheater is off, probably until Monday... Ahh, Spring, eh?

Well, it's 'into town' day for mail & groceries. Not much on for the remainder.
