72° beautiful day
Dentist got me in, he thinks tooth is probably cracked. I’ve had 2 root canals on this tooth, last one last year. But he gave me antibiotic script and sending me back to root canal guy for better pics. That will be Thursday. They did schedule me for cleaning tomorrow since I am due.
Decided to skip Costco run, and will pick up meds tomorrow.
Put recycle out for tomorrow, or today if they drive by.
Mailbox alarm hasn’t been working for couple weeks. Swapped the barn alarm with mailbox one, both now working. I think a battery had popped out of mailbox one, as I saw a loose one. Fortunately not much traffic along road during the swap, only had to scramble up bank once. Need to relabel them online.
Emailed weboost about broken connector. They will only replace under warranty. It’s probably 5 yrs old, I doubt it’s covered. I’ll try to resolder. Need a better soldering iron. Mine is old with an old tip, way too big.
Wife is getting camper cleaned for a trip out Friday, 1st in 2 yrs.

Drew - safe travels.

Well, getting the Tarm out is still perplexing them, but the new heater is in after shoving the old one over on blocks.

When we have moved boilers around we used several short pieces of 2" pipe as rollers and the laid a couple of 2x12's on the cellar stairs got it started onto the planks then a tractor had no problem sliding them up the stairs using a chain.

They are bringing in more wood and people to move this. Issue is turns and tile floors.
They talked about pipes for rolling as normal, but with the weight and having tiles, afraid this would crack them.
So thinking a number of boards and big pallet mover, or more layers of boards and rolling on pipes.

Well it's a bit past morning, so afternoon all;
Boy quite a change in the weather here for this coming week, long ways from upper 80's and humid.
almost going to be a bit chilly!!

Having fun today, I brought my huge stepladder into the house to get too the mini-splits in the kitchen and living room to clean the filters, the head units are about 12 feet from the floor.
My ladder is a big fiberglass Type 1A with a standing platform at 8 ft, nice to work off of but a royal pain to move around and setup.
I set of filters washed and ready to reinstall and I even dusted one ceiling fan, think I'll get the other unit tomorrow.

The good thing about having ants running the splitter is that I am much better at stacking, so she gets to participate and I get to make sure the ricks are stable 😎👍

IMG_3933.jpeg

The red-marked wood to the left is the pine which will season for two years, then it gets into a mix of sourwood and oak. There is still a pule of sourwood left to split, it should mostly fill up that gap in between the new and old ricks.

The Rick to the right behind the tent will be relocated into the second woodshed and the wood from the woodlot will replace it for the ‘24-‘25 season.

supposedly going into the 40s tonight here in Appalachia — Mrs made me pull out her heavy Ralph Lauren quilt!

Good (Tuesday) morning. Overnight Low of 10C and it's presently 22.4C, mostly clear and the wind is increasing... 'we' are under a severe wind (gale) warning starting late this arvo &, perhaps, some rain tomorrow morning. At this time of the year (onset of Spring) the predictions are all over the place. :D

Yesterday I was able to drop off a full box of empty wine bottles to the recyclable bin at the tip, then into town to pick up a couple of delivered cases of wine at the PO. Filled the ute with petrol & a 20ltr jerry-can of diesel.

Arvo was spent cleaning up Paddock #1. I just forked the droppings into my wheelbarrow amongst all of the other tasks.

Not much planned for today although I'll probably take down my flag & flagpole in anticipation of the wind. That's about it, take care all.

How about 9/66?
september 1966 makes more sense 😁
Well, it's something 6. I'll have to look at the other tab closely, could be 86, but I think I used it in the 70s. Still has white gas in it.

Went by the "Farm" on the way to the estate house Sunday and there was a crowd there, sure do miss the Fall Festival, but bum knee will keep me off the tractor till it gets replaced to match my other knee.

My medallion guaranteed signature was all done online for probate. They asked multiple questions that got e wondering "how do they know that"? One question they asked was a multiple choice question and asked which of 3 women did I know. The answer was a step sister and they used her maiden name.

50 going to 79. Lots of stars.

Had a nice hike after my dump run. There was a young man sitting on a bench playing a 5 string electric bass...most beautiful guitar I've ever seen. He was practicing for a try-out to get a job in a band on a cruise ship...says he'd be on it for 6 months. Hope he gets the job.

Cleaned my zero turn well since I have to crawl under to change the hydraulic/transmission fluid today. I also need to change the filter, and clean the strainer with a non-flammable solvent...not sure I have any...or what to look for.

Routine dentist appointment this morning.

55 outside this AM, heading to upper 70's. 86% humidity.

Finished insulation and foam board on one end of the Milk House gable. Up and down the ladder is tiring. Will wrap it with vinyl later today.

Still waiting on two plumber estimates. Neighbor plumber came by late last night. Late...but he gave us some ideas and his ball park estimate is in line with others. Seems no one want to give me a layout though on pipes. Which is what I am after. Anyway, digging and pipe to septic is the killer. Estimates of 70 to 100 a foot have come in. I am having a furball with that. And that's ballpark for this area. It's plastic pipe and a trench....

I may need to take down another wall in the Milk House, new layout, thanks to the plumber. More space obviously without wall. But darn it, that means moving some electric again. Will see what wife wants.

No hints from dealer on MX. So they are coming to get it. Need 400 hour servicing and the A/C looked at. Oh well...

Looks like another expensive month is going to be on the books soon.

Hope all have a great day. Be safe. Safe travels to those on the move. Get well wishes to those ailing.
