Good Morning Guys,
55 to start going to 62 with on and off drizzle ! Was hoping to do some outside work with wood but it’s not looking good !

My friend and neighbor up the road houses my 55 gallon drum with heating oil in his barn for me. He has one barrel and I have the other both with their own pump and nozzle. The hose line on mine got very stiff and can hardly bend. 1” ID tubing is too big and so having trouble finding 7/8” that will resist diesel. May have to order something online ! Couldn’t find anything at local auto stores or TSC ! I only need about 5’ or so ! He has the barrels at his barn because he has an oil furnace and we burn propane!

Other than that everyone have a blessed and safe day !

Morning all, 62 going up to 72 and rain, looks like 2" so far.
Yesterday cleaned out leafs from pool and drove sons band to South Philly.
Then back to rest a bit. Will call Dr. today if they don't call this morning.

Oil burner replacement should start today, will miss the Tarm.

I'm surprised that TSC didn't have a fuel hose.

Got my drone stuck in a tall white pine last night. Wife held the flashlight while I shot branches with squirrel and dove loads. It’s still stuck in the tree. Worst part was getting in bed and turning off the light only to see the flashing lights of the drone thru the window. That will prove to be a pricey mistake.

Good Morning.
60 and raining, about 3/4” since yesterday. Supposed to clear up later and make it into the 70’s.

Yesterday was able to get some string trimming in before it started.
Patched dining room ceiling, looks almost ready for paint. A bit of sanding and a skim with the 14” blade should do it.
This repair was an excuse to get a Makita cordless drywall saw, an awesome tool that cuts the drywall wall and nothing behind it, you can cut right down a joist. And… it collects all the dust with a vacuum.

Off to Portland, ME this morning, should be a decent day by the time I get home.

My local TSC has hose for diesel pumps in stock.

I always seem to forget some thing on these trips, and this time it was my laptop. Posting here, with no keyboard is a chore, fixing all the typos from voice to text.

Got the microwave oven replaced with a new one, and yesterday. Finally got the old toilet flange. Cut off and replaced. Not much else to report. Looks like I’ll be here for the rest of the week.

Lou, TSC had a pre made 1” line, 14’ long with threaded fittings on both ends for $60 !! Not paying that, I will find something that works for a lot less, just need to look !! Thanks just the same Lou !

Potluck was fun except eating too much. A number of folks that we hadn’t seen in a couple years.

Happy Hour in town this afternoon but before that a stop at the hospital to visit a friend. Joyce was to be the guest of honor yesterday. Recently received diagnosis of terminal cancer. Unfortunately she fell and hit her head. Husband took her to ER and they decided to keep her a few days. At 79, falling and pneumonia not 2 things you like to hear.
