Good Morning Everyone

Due to the BC Wildfires in this immediate area, I was right on the border of the Evacuation Zones of Alerts and Orders. There were several fires nearby within minutes, closest one about 3 kms away. Two of the three highways were closed down. I packed up and left for a week, went to daughters in Alberta, about 10 hrs away. The smoke itself was intolerable and a huge health risk. I returned home late Sunday night, and have been reorganizing / resettling my life. Setting up my bookkeeping office again ... there is still a lot of smoke here, but cautiously optimistic and praying that the Evacuation Alerts / Orders are behind me
I hope that everyone is fine. I am a bit out of touch with the group at the moment, still praying for needs as I become aware of them.
No changes or updates re the end of my marriage yet, but we will have a meeting in September, so I will know more after that. Praying that the finances come together for me for keeping the house and making a buy-out. It's been a difficult year. Take care All.

got home and sure enough the left tail light had gone out again, but not the new ones Popgadget just installed.
I think tomorrow I'll take that lens off, find the little plastic press in piece that holds the bulb in, and put a drop of super glue on it.
This has fallen apart too many times now. Bulb is fine, mount is defective design. And from Hella who should know better.

They were on Amazon Day sale and am glad I spent the money.
makes driving that noisy rv very pleasant, comfy ear cushions. bit of a nuisance to have to cycle through a bunch of options to get to noise reduction, like
"ambient sounds", but as soon as the noise reduction turns on, the rv almost disappears. It gets that quiet. yet I still could listen to music.
I'll use the old set for mowing the lawn now.

birds are fed, car is washed, lawn is mowed, house is cleaned, rv is back, time to chill

Ran to town for a bite for lunch and to take 6 gallons of old oil to recycling. Once home I saw the stuff growing on north side of garage, and since wife had other vehicle in town, I hooked up wet and forget to garden hose and sprayed what it would reach. First time using their spray jug, it says sprays 30 ft, it barely went 10 ft. I’ll be back to using the pump sprayer off a ladder.
I did wear goggles and tried not getting under it.
The stuff does work well, very gradual, not fast.
