65F with light rain and rumbles of thunder @ 23:30.

Ran out to Little Caesar’s early in between one of the downpours. Took forever to get waited on.

Pie was pretty good though …

Several Severe and Dangerous Thunderstorm Warnings throughout the late afternoon and evening.

Fell asleep on the couch after dinner and slept through a lot of it.

Tornado Warning in Huron County.

Currently under a Flash Flood Warning here.

Just checked closest LWS and are reporting 4.44” since midnight last … and we could get another couple of inches before it’s all said and done …

Good evening all. 79ºF for the start, mostly clear sky, light breeze. Light wind, partly cloudy sky, and high temp was 101ºF, HI 105ºF. Men's meeting to start day, the motivation became MIA. Did get nap in and Mexican for dinner.

Frist cup of coffee is cooling. 70° with thunderstorms this morning. Heading to 87° with more thunderstorms in afternoon. Was woke up just after 1am with thunder. Then power and Internet outages. Whole house generator did its thing for .5 hour. Power and internet came back on. Storms continued Dropping over 3" of rain. Going to need lots of coffee today. Grocery shopping and a stop at Menard this morning. Install a new digital deadbolt for a neighbors. Then will see what weather does for rest of the day.
Birds are lined up to take a bath in garden pond waterfall.

Buppies, prayers for a quick recovery and no more of these spots.

need to call plumber today, find out about bill for sump pump work done.
slight, ever so slight...possibility that landlord told plumber they would pay for it.

my ex BIL passed away from brain cancer. A good friend and a good man, a leader of our
community. This is second brother my ex wife has lost. As we get older, it sure happens.

Good morning! 79˚F before sunrise heading to 105˚ with heat index of 112˚, we are under a heat warning. No rain. Maybe a Costco run today, store runs and cooking the two pastimes in the extreme heat.

There was a fire in South Austin that started from a lithium battery that was charging.

"Division Chief Eddie Martinez with the Austin Fire Department (AFD) said a battery for a piece of lawn equipment caught fire while sitting on the deck outside charging. "It overheats, it starts heating, and it just heats up so much that it's running away, and its thermal heat causes it to catch on fire," he said."

"As for lithium-ion batteries, Chief Martinez says it is important to be extra cautious. He warns those who have them to not leave them constantly plugged in once fully charged. He adds do not keep them outside in a hot environment, but in a climate-controlled environment like inside. Also, inspect the batteries regularly."

"Make sure they don't have any damage, any bulging, any holes, any cracks in them, because that makes them susceptible to fire," he said."
