Good morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

68.4F going to low 90s. No thunderstorms yeaterday afternoon or overnight, so likely a trip to woodlot today to water plants. Depending on various factors. May actually do some work up there o, or not… depending…

after dinner yesterday we went for a walk I. Town and stopped in the local antiques emporium. Found a Coleman 228F in the box, with the aluminum funnel on the box also in the box, looks like it was used once, for a really good price. Also got three old hand saws (two Disston, one Warranted Superior) For about $20each —- I may go into saw sharpening and restoration as a “parallel economy” gig. It never hurts to learn new skills!

when we did irrigation on Wednesday, I pulled out some more of the used beehive boxes and frames to clean and spruce up. One of the medium boxes had been so horribly overrun with wax moths that I had to use a prybar to get the frames out. I just pre-washed off a whole bunch of crud prior to pressure washing everything — it was that thick. But it was still much cheaper than buying new, just requires a bit of effort and time.

i hope everyone has a happy healthy safe blessed day!

Morning all, 71 going up to 84 and cloudy, thunder.
Really active storm last night, not much sleep and a little over 1 inch of rain.

old clutch collar removed and new/spare clutch installed and working on Simplicity.

Buppies - sorry to hear about woes with wife. Sounds like you need some outside help. With our grandmothers UTI usually brought about the worst of the problems, so agree it's time for a checkup. Maybe get social workers involved?

Riptides/Scotty - my friend grew up in the 70's with scoliosis and had to wear a full upper body external support for years in school, glad they can do operations now.

Be well,

Good Morning Guys,
More thunder storms and rain last night, wondering when this terrible weather pattern will take a turn for the better?
My thoughts and prayers to all flooded residents in low lying areas that have been so adversely affected by these floods ! 🙏
Hope all have a blessed and safe day !

BTW, Daugen, would love to take you out on our pontoon boat, if the rain ever stops !

Good Morning
73 with a high in the middle 80’s today, chance of thunderstorms through the day. We had one roll through about 5:30 this morning, left us a half inch of rain. It’s sunny now.

Yesterday was hot and humid, a good day to be in the shop. Made considerable progress on the speaker-

Spent some more time doing online recurrent TSA training, I’ll be elated when that is all complete. Most of it isn’t even applicable to our operation, we have no cabin crew or air marshals.

We did actually buy the Transit Connect, got it registered and dropped it off at the shop for the needed repairs and state inspections. I was surprised that it actually happened, as the first go at it went so poorly.

Rounded up the trash and recycling and got it down to the street and called it a day.

I’ll be back in the shop today, plugging away on the speaker, I’ve got a few things to get ready for band rehearsal tonight, I’d like to do a little RC flying, and I’ve got to chase down a few things for the transit connect.

Good morning! 78˚F before sunrise heading to the hundreds, mostly clear skies. An "Excessive Heat Warning" has been issued till 9PM but then a surprise heat advisory has been issued after 9PM today till 9PM Saturday.

Only one tractor driver has been scheduled for this weekend - Saturday morning, the rest have been canceled. There are usually four shifts to fill. Good call.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife Buppies. I agree with Ron, something else might be affecting her such as UTI, Dr. visit needs to happen.

Fritz- I am happy to read that your Wife is on the mend, and I really like your pictures of the countryside.

Scott- Thanks for sharing. It’s the “challenges” with which We deal is what defines us. The ability to post about a past traumatic event after being triggered is a testament to your strength. Your shared life history, like others here, proves it. I have 3 CD’s worth of X-rays, CAT and MRI scans of my crystallizing lungs and the slow recovery process. The measures that saved my life were quite intrusive. Every freaking video of Covid ravaged lungs triggered Me on an almost constant basis when the C-19 hysteria started. I believe that I disappeared from here around that time; I should have stayed.

Dennis- Screw the Northern Lights. I really like your sunset picture. It was T-storms here last night; some of them pretty intense.

RonJH- I really like your Song Sparrow picture. It seems to be a good year for SP’s. I saw it all the time at the longterm care facilities where I worked. Men can get UTI’s as well and usually their symptoms are usually more severe and longer lasting. I read the article it is excellent. After the state hospital closed I did clinical assessments in longterm care facilities trying to ferret out what processes were going on………. Just like here at home.

Buppies- Many of Us here can relate, and some really do not have a nearby “natural” support system. I do not mind members sharing/“venting” “stuff.” It seems to happen naturally here from a lot of the members.. In hindsight it did not really help me to shut down and disappear from here.

Drew- I hope that you have a good time having a cold one with your brother. The turnaround recovery once the UTI’s are treated is amazing. This happens with dehydration/rehydration as well.

PopG- I really enjoy your speaker project. You are a craftsman artisan. Thanks for sharing.

The dinner at the restaurant went well. I had planned on a firefly photoshoot last evening, but threatening weather conditions nixed that plan. We did experience quite a few intense T-storms as this front moved thorough last night/early this morning. It was a hazy, foggy, rain showery morning for the dog walk, The sun reappeared and it looks like the sun is already starting to energize the pre-existing strong weather dynamics. And the pattern continues.

That's the news.

Just trying to show a day in the life of someone with dementia, I have no one else to vent to

You can vent here. My dad endured it with my mom. She got totally confused about everything, could remember way in the past but not 5 minutes ago. Sorry you have to go thru this.

It always brightens my day seeing this at the top of your posts. I often need this reminder.
