Oldest son and his wife came over for dinner and spent the night. We played Mexican Train until way past my bedtime. Everyone still asleep except my internal clock wakes me up so I can feed the birds. Forgot to bring in the hummingbird feeders, so the raccoons made quite a mess. I had to make another gallon of food and wash 7 feeders. The coons still haven't found the other 11 out right now, or they are hung too high. People at the grocery store think we have quite the sugar habit when we put so many large sugar bags in our cart.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly…).

57.3F, going to upper 70s. Mostly to Partly Cloudy is forecasted for today.

Yesterday’s forecast was a bust, sun came out for most of the day, and it was steamy hit at times. There were some threatening clouds that occasionally rolled in but no precip for us. Took advantage and went up scaffold and relocated the dusk-to-Dawn light. View from top of the shed is pretty good:

It will be a lot of fun setting up the scaffold to work over the vestibule roof, the only way will be to make two towers and then bridge between them.

hopefully the weather holds out for another day or two, so we can get up to the woodlot. With all the rain it is still going to be a soggy mess. . . Maybe it will be ok to go up this evening but tomorrow would be better.

70F cloudy humid upper 70's for high late morning rain arriving well into evening.

Outside chores and couple things done E muffin time.

Relaxing on the deck last evening Doris visit for while,Boo short visit,2 grays fox stay the longest and we had good chat enough so Mrs. came out to check on me,before she left call me Dr. Dolittle

Plans for today...all day plus rain arriving soon so no outside puttering guess see what happens.

I have tree in my front yard like that. Was here before I moved in. Got a guy coming out Tuesday. Not sure it will get trimmed or cut down.

Good Morning!!!! 55F @ 7:15 in Gresham, OR. Plentiful sunshine. High 81F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph.

The ride up was uneventful, and actually pleasant, as I5 wound it's way through the coastal ranges and hills. Up until I hit Portland traffic at about 3PM, which was all but stopped on all the major freeways. Surface roads were almost as bad, and an hour and a half later I got to the motel. Ugh. The motel was right across the street from a shopping center with a pizza joint, a liquor store, and Harbor Freight. Went there first and bought a ramp to load the bike with, ordered a pizza, and picked up a couple beers. One stop shopping. Miserable night, as no one here seemed to go to sleep. What a racket! Paper thin walls at this Day's Inn. At least breakfast is included, then off to the dealership.
