45F misting rain and all night long.

Got couple things done outside and thought about this and that...been lazy day.

Plans for the evening...hmm.

Good (Sunday) morning. A true indication that Winter is 'on the way' as the overnight Low was 1.4C! Heavy morning dew (that looked like frost, but wasn't) in the early sunlight. It's clear and calm, presently 4.6C.

I'm not going to put a fire on until after this Thursday... which is the most wonderful/dangerous (for my wallet) day of the year as AGFEST starts on that day. It's back to its traditional time of the year.

I'm off to Church in a half hour, it's a 'combined' service held at one of the other Churches in town. We do this, on a rotational basis, whenever there's a 5th Sunday in a month. After that, the rest of today is His.

That's about it, take care all.

GM Update Update:

broke out the pickaxe and shovel and did some nitrate mining - filled 6 large sacks.

the chicken run floor is now 3 inches lower…
