I agree with you, Drew. I will NEVER give the nazis a pass for what they did.

I just got a notification from the PO that my package was undeliverable because 'no one was at home'. Well this no one was home ALL day and ALL night. Now they want an additional $1.95 to try and deliver it again. NOT going to happen. It is just the Rural Route driver trying to drum up business.

Good Morning Everyone - greetings

I've been busy with tax files

Also busy with appointments and Buy-Out calculations re the Sep Agmt plans. I went to the Bank (current lender) last Friday and provided as much information as I could to try and secure a new mortgage / LOC. They discovered a glitch / multiple credit files with Equifax (???) I had to call the credit service number to verify my info - particularly Year of Birth as they has 2 different years listed (what ? my name is unique) - turns out that it was likely sloppy handwriting by the sales guy, when we bought the walk in tub ... uggh. It was that loan that had the issue. Well, that is cleared up.

Tomorrow (Wed) afternoon - I guess that's today ... I will go through the same steps with the local Credit Union - my preferred lender. Hope to have things moving forward in the weeks ahead.

I have my first appointment with my NEW lawyer next week, on Mon May 1/23 ... long story. That should provide some momentum, and give us a basic response to wife's lawyer. So much of the information is inaccurate (not simply disputed), just wrong, incorrect. It will be difficult and also interesting to hear wife's explanations. After that appointment, I will get a visit in with my 14 month old grandson Konrad, oh yeah - AND his parents (daughter, son in law :) )

Really I think that there is a simpler, quicker, less costly (legals) solution that would be more amicable, and less stressful. But that means that I need to choose to let the junk settle, at cost to me. Anyways, enough of that, Prayers appreciated - I will get through this, God has a plan.

I had some tractor time this week. Also was given 6 ducklings the other day, growing quickly. Messier than chickens, but a nice addition. I have been doing some planning and goal setting. One thing that I want to do once everything settles, is to host a BBQ to thank friends, family, church etc. Hopefully in August.

Tonight my buddy invited me to his Graduation evening (Tuesday next week) from a personal growth course that he has taken for about 7-8 months. I think it is the Freedom Sessions study. I'm honoured that he picked me, only 1 guest accommodated. Should be a good evening, and I'll hear his story / testimony.

Good morning! 66˚F cloudy, chance of rain, heading to upper 70s, South wind.

FireWise went well yesterday with 18 people. We worked in a common area between houses and the creek where a short cut-through golf cart path is located. The pole saw got another good workout but also had to use the sawzall to free the pole saw once. We Hiked to the worksite as our evening walk about 3 miles to get the pics.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

Finally got around to fixing the leak in the coffee machine. Tiny O-rings, which deteriorated over the last 19 years. Old ones were black, new ones were high-temp red. I ordered a second set, for when they need to be replaced 2042…

I also got out the angle grinder and took off the bell end from the tine shaft on the tiller gearbox and split the cases. I got the shifter-side case cleared of old grease and new grease packed in, and when I went to start on the other side, it started to rain. Which it wasn’t supposed to start doing until tomorrow. . .

oh yeah— 47.8F and rainy, going to mid 50s and rainy…

went back to Kubota dealer and crunched some more numbers, included for fully-loaded model. We will (if we pull the trigger on new Kubota instead of used Bobcat) be getting an open cab because there are (as of yesterday morning) 851 other people on the waiting list for the 033 with a cab… minimum of 5 months to be number 852… so we would go with what is in stock. I have to call and see if tool guy has a number on the Bobcat for me.

I also got a quote on the scaffolding, and it is double what Home Cheapo would be, so I guess I will be hooking up a trailer and heading out-of-state —- it will be worth it.

Running mom around for more errands, getting some errands done at the same time. Rainy day = no outside work.

I was up from about 2AM to after 4AM, earworm was a Bob Sefer medley of Hollywood Nights/Shakedown/Feel Like A Number. Not exactly conducive to falling back to sleep…

time for another cuppa. Another nice thing about fixing the leak in the machine is an extra 1/2” of mud in the cup 😎👍

I hope everyone has a happy healthy safe blessed day!
time for more coffee

But they sure as heck are not repeat offenders.
Too many hiding behind "mental illness" when it is just a lack of will.
Most people do not realize that “police” and the Courts were not created to protect the populace from the criminal, but to protect the criminal from the populace . . .

If you go used it will be good to check out hydraulics carefully. They may work fine when oil is cold but show drift with hot oil

Especially since it is a rental machine— multiple users of varying skill…. I would actually pay someone to go over it for me before buying.

Yes for sure. But how to prevent it from happening again by other mentally ill people is the question I think we should focus on.
The **** solution was to execute them all

Good Morning!!!! 68F @ 6:00AM. Sunshine and a few afternoon clouds. High 89F. Winds light and variable.

Yesterday started with the contractors banging around on the patio again, so a relatively early start for me, too. They had more problems getting through the gate, and I spent most of yesterday working through the issues. Bottom line is that the same winds that took away the porch cover and chimney also knocked the solar panel that powers the gate out of line, and the battery wasn't getting fully recharged. Every time it opened, the motors caused the battery voltage to drop below what is needed to power the gate controller, and it got a little crazy. That battery is five years old now, so in town today I'll bring home a new one. And I realigned the solar panel, and am thinking of a better mounting system for it than the current hose clamp based one.

But right now I need to get up there and get the gate open before the guys get here. Guess I'll catch up later...

Happy Hump Day!

What solar controller do you use for charging the battery? Our onboard controller failed, and we replaced it with the recommended external controller, but it overcharges the battery. In full Sun it is pushing over 17VDC to the battery.

not too bad in short winter sun, but summer is nigh…

nice flower Ken, zoomed in on that, very pretty.

stocked up at local grocery store, they had my favorite curried chicken salad, and some nice romaine hearts I bought for salad.
and then some ground lamb for burgers. Real Vidalia onions were in, checker had no idea they come from a fairly small area in
Georgia. The lookalikes come from Peru off season.
It can be called a Vidalia only if it's grown in one of 20 counties designated by the the Vidalia Onion Act of 1986.

would you trust something that says Organic not to wash it?

Good morning! Low of 33°, heading for 64°. Supposed to have good chances of rain by this morning..... not a drop.
No rain over the past 3 days of "chances".... I can see where this is going again.....

Winds picked up pretty strong yesterday, gusts over 40, so didn't even attempt to go out to the shop. Hopefully today. Being there is not a cloud in the sky this morning, don't think any rain will prevent doing so.

Drew, awful story about that child. Unbelievable that it could even happen. I hope he gets what he deserves.

Scaredy, hope everything falls in place and you can move forward. Prayers sent!

Have a few appointments this morning, delaying getting to the shop until at least afternoon. Just don't have enough time anymore......

Everyone have a great day!
