Picked up groceries on the way back from wife's doctor clinic appointment. Her injections took 20 mins including the mixing of the biological meds. Cost 12000 dollars. She needs this monthly. Fortunately Medicare and CareFirst covers the cost. Someone is making money on this!!

Found out we needed the booster for Bordetella for Cody to take him to the groomer so getting that late today. Good the groomer is careful and wants to keep the dogs safe. I think we picked the right place.

Set up an appointment to have the shoulder injury looked at an Orthopedic clinic. Keeping it at rest has helped but then when using it again it comes back with more pain. We will see what they will suggest.

Drew why can the car not stay in the garage. The new motorhome is going in the back of the house right?

Ron, that is good size lake. How big is it? Can it be used for boating/fishing?

LS, I feel the cold a lot more as I get older too. Dress in more layers and using heated west a lot

The kids have been dropping off flowers for wife and it now looks like a flower store inside.

Frits, I sort of misspoke, yes to rear and side of house but still in driveway. My raised veggie gardens are behind the house, plus the existing one small spot for my one ton trailer.
All the clearances are too tight to do anything but back it down the driveway and then plug a 15amp cord into garage.
Going out should be fine, backing in will be a treat with mailbox, shrubs and my neighbor across the street who has a rock garden somewhat illegally all the way out to the pavement in the ROW.
will just take me a few back and forths, rv has a decent rear camera on it.

So golf cart and my lawn mower and also my Gravely garden tractor (soon coming back from loan to a friend) which will totally fill up garage.

more amazon deliveries, most went to garage awaiting rv. Then since it was still warm out, waxed rear of car.

while rv is in gravel driveway, will probably turn on autoleveling which will take some weight off the tires. I got a cover for the front windshield and for the tires.
still waiting on sheets to arrive today, figure I'll be doing wash later. Most of the silverware, plates and small appliances have now arrived. I have to thoroughly sanitize the inside
of the rv before I start loading stuff into it. I bet it will be delivered very clean on the outside though.

I'm already considering an upgrade to a 15k heat pump from the oem 13.5k roof a/c. Will likely take rv to Florida in late March, and that will tell me whether the stock a/c is enough.
It wasn't on my first rv, had to use fans to move air around, and if rv site is out in full sun, in Florida, doubt it will be adequate. It's a ducted system at least. I really want a heat pump so I don't have to burn my own propane at campsites.

Buckeye, the TS raised beds are nice. all pieces are painted both sides and wrapped in plastics they won't get scratched during shipment. 32 bolts with wing nuts for attaching the corners. There are two like this one in the package. The corner is not bent that is just the rocks reflecting on the paint, and they include a pair of garden gloves in the box.

Lake is a former gravel pit. About 1/4 mile by 1/2 mile. Great fishing for walleye and bass. Lake is private. Pontoons and Jet skies. East end has 5 homes. All $1 million +. Rest of property around lake is tied up in court because of failure to pay taxes. Been that way for over 15 years. There is another lake west of it. Tied up in same court case.

Kyle, your closest hospital, St. Mark's hospital, LaGrange, is starting to shut down some services. ER is still open for out-patient care - simple broken bones and stitches but anything that will require a night in the hospital they will probably have to transport to Austin as they will not have hospital rooms staffed.

Good (Wednesday) morning. Overnight Low of 11.5C and it's presently 24.2C, overcast with a gentle breeze. The Bureau of Many Guesses have issued a 'heat warning' for Friday of +30C temperatures... I suppose that 'we'll' see if it comes true or if they're just covering their arses.

In anticipation of this event, yesterday I did a tip run even though my bin was only 3/4 full; there's no reason to have whatever's in there to 'percolate' for later and attract flies. Finished up the day by dropping a round of hay into Paddock #6.

Today is 'into town' for Senior Discount (5%) groceries and whatever else comes up.

That's about it, take care all.

I really Hate this time of year. Today was high 50's and want to get to property to start working.

The tractor is at my dad's place with the snowblower on it. He needs it more than us. The mini is here in the yard for when DOT plows in our property road so I can dig the berm out.

They are calling for good shovelable snow on Thursday through Friday.

The ups and downs are killing me

Good evening all. 50ºF for the start, rain, .9 inch in rain gauge, light breeze. Rain quit by 8AM, wind cranked up as sky cleared off, gusts over 50, and high temp was 68ºF. Water was over the road at low water crossing, but was not closed to traffic. Putter to start morning, then bike ride, roads still are the wet side, As wind increase roads dry and winds are harder to deal with. Lunch after ride then nap, the wife and I make shrimp newburg together, that was good. Short session to adjust rear derailleur on Peugeot, then sit with wife.

First cup of coffee has been poured. 49° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 53° with cloudy skies and high wind warnings. It was a great winter day out side yesterday. A new house is being built down the road from me by neighbors son. While I had drone out took some drone pictures for him. Going to be a nice house. Other than fly drone that was my whole day. Grocery shopping today.
Crows take off from feeders whenever they see any motion in kitchen window. I get pictures of them in the trees.

Good morning to all! Low of 25° and snow as forecasted. Got about 3", but the wind decided it would be better piled up in areas and just dusting other areas. High today only to be mid 30's. More snow tonight, supposed to be a bigger storm. Winds today could have gusts 45-55 mph.

I thick the crud has finally given up. Only a couple coughs, congestion almost gone. Only took 9 days to get over it. The biggest issue is that I may have transferred it to the wifey.....

Going to be an inside day for sure! Not sure what rabbit hole I'll go down.

Yesterday's rabbit hole adventure found some interesting changes coming to FCA (Chrysler) engines. The 'talk' is the 3.6 L, the 5.7 L, and the 3.0 diesel are / will be discontinued. The replacement will be a straight 6, single or dual turbo. No real specs out on it yet, aside from the estimated HP ratings.

Still no word from the knee referral. Last week, I did get confirmation that the insurance approved the 2nd opinion. The orthopedic surgeons office referred it to a totally different organization, the University's orthopedic center. I may try and call them today..... I was assured that the paperwork was sent to them last Thursday.

Hope everyone has a great day!
You’re getting rid of crud, I catch crud.

Thus, balance is restored to the universe…

Good morning to all. High today near 80, then another front with 20-25 drop. Have to work on taxes if I can squeeze that in. 😫 Will try to get to the American Legion coffee meeting this morning.

Needing an "industrial" quality flood light (2 bulb). Want one with a motion sensor to mount on the outside of my metal shop. Want quality and weather "proof". The models I have so far seen are "weather resistant" and many have "plastic housings", some the bulbs are not replaceable! My preference would be a "normal floodlight bulb that I can find when replacement is needed" not a square LED type that I have to order somewhere. This unit will be in the Texas sun all day. NOTHING plastic lasts here for long. Any suggestions where to buy?

All Take Care, wishing you a great day.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

Thank you all for well wishes! Luckily it is just a good Ol’ fashioned head cold. Lots of supplements and other unmentionables and DayQuil/NyQuil and it is very manageable. A throwback to “normal times” if you will. . . Oddly I caught this thing BEFORE my annual checkup. Usually things like this occur AFTER the trip to the doc. . .

53F going to mid-60’s, but chance of precip. Hopefully it does not interfere with taking the dog for her excursion at the woodlot - she is getting cabin fever!

strange goings-on in work, two long-time managers are no longer employed there. One definitely fired, don’t know if the other one was fired or resigned in protest over firing of the other one. All I can say is that having the CD players this year is working out really well - plausible deniability is a wonderful thing!

I hope everyone has a wonderful happy healthy blessed day!
