Good Update Update!

Mrs just told me our alert status has been changed to Winter Weather Advisory.

If nothing else, this was good practice…

Thanks. Hockey is her life. The boys really accept her and they teach her how to dodge hits from bigger guys. She still takes some good hits and seen her ditch her stick more than once going after someone that did a bad hit on her.

I love it. It's 3pm and back at the rink for another game

Good morning! 32˚F sunny, north wind, heading to the mid 50s.

Today is limb day at the church, hope someone brings a pole saw. I'll have my chain saw going continuously on the low lying limbs.

David is your field of vision larger?

Yes Don, better field of vision, especially upper. A friend also commented they could see my eyeballs. Guess I didn’t realize.

Do you have a before and after pic? Well, the after pic will have to be in a few weeks after you heal.

David, looking up towards the sun usually gets me sneezing at least a couple times.... The wifey would never believe me (told her this years ago) until my son has the same issue. Then she believes us.... must be hereditary?

Agree, my Dad was same way. And I quote him, even at night, “ must be the sun”

Good (Sunday) morning. Overnight Low of 13C and it's presently 16.4C (heading to a predicted 24C), calm but this late arvo it's predicted to gust to 40kph). Mostly sunny.

Aunt's video call was postponed 'til after Church this morning... although she got confused and tried to call me at my 0230. :) Of course, I was tucked up in my wee bed.

Horses transferred and Paddock #5 chain-harrowed & mowed/mulched.

That's about it, take care all.

Actually I took a before pic in Dr office. Will get an after pic after swelling goes down.

If your experience is the same as mine with a similar unit you won’t be disappointed. I don’t even have the Hyper Heat and it was making great heat in the single digits, which is as low as it’s been since I installed it. AC works great as well.
I like it a lot. The feature to get it to temp quickly works great and the adjustments for airflow including direct air or indirect air are nice. It is my first experience with mini splits so don't have anything to compare with

My oldest son played hockey and I endured many of those early games. Funny thing, once he was able to drive himself to the games, he stopped playing……
Got 4 more years before that happens. Get to wake up at 5 am tomorrow to get her to the semi finals.

I gotta buy a bigger coffee pot...

Oh yes very quiet. The outside unit I can hardly hear. The inside unit has a little whisper to it but pleasant. The two green lights are on when it is working up to temp and when at the set temp one light goes out.

I had a teen girl on the school football team and she was also taking lessons in judo
The boys on the opposing team were always amazed when she took the helmet off
One of them got upset and went after her
She took him down and broke his arm
Never got a complaint from the parents

Dennis, love your granddad's house. If I had that it would be getting restored and updated. Want to sell off a small chunk?

Always a possibility. We are wanting to buy his land.
The 2 story part is a log house underneath, probably built around 1850s or before. I think wood stove is still in it. The kitchen wood stove is. Think land bought around 1834 from the government by relatives.

Morning all, 53 going to 57 and partly cloudy, some light rain last night.
Ground still slippery and mushy,
Son is now in two bands, one that plays gigs in bars and one that is still trying to do so.
And he is still doing School of Rock show. We will have to keep an eye out for overload.

Uncle decided not to do heart surgery for now, will re-evaluate in 6 months, he is 90 so not unexpected.

Got connectors for sons amp so will need to fix that this weekend

List has not grown shorter lately.

Be well,
There is a song on this disc called “Rock Star School” which is quite entertaining and extremely truthful:

i have the disc - I picked it up in a second-hand shop in Florida about 5 years ago, and only found it again last week.

Last time I needed to replace my hearing protection earmuffs I got the bluetooth version...now I can answer the phone while it's in my pocket by pressing a button on the ear cup. The pair I bought doesn't have a mike, so have to yell until I get the phone out of my pocket, but can answer a call quickly so it doesn't go to voice mail. Also, can listen to tunes, of course.
Yup

Do the same thing myself. Entertainment and saving my ears!
