Coffee has finished brewing. 21° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 29° with cloudy skies and chance of 1" more snow. Grocery shopping went good. Dentist visit got me another appointment next month for a filling. Wednesday Dr visit got a shingles shot. Spent most of yesterday recovering side effects of that shot. Arm is still sore today. Going to be a conserve energy day today.
Anybody do Squirrel nail trimming.

Drew, hope your back on your way to warmth. Picture was taken at neighbors place. We were clearing his circle drive. He was pushing snow from one direction and I pushing it of the drive. It was very wet and sticky. Great stuff to make snowballs.

Mostly, Turf Tires are the best tread for plowing snow. I have snow chains for tractor. But have only put them on one time in 23 years of owning this tractor for ice on drive.

Everyone one stay safe and well.

Good Morning All.

good morning all
currently in Charleston SC, only about an hour delay before.
heat on train won't go over 68, felt chilled all night, lot of air movement but sure
didn't feel warm.
went out and looked for promised coffee, no cups in machine. Sigh.
I can be patient for most things, other than morning coffee....

28 hoping for 46 and sunshine.

Prayers for your granddaughter, m7.

Glad you're home safe, Buppies.

Finished splitting my firewood, more than would fit in the pallet box, so need to swap it with an empty one, if the ground has firmed up enough from the below freezing temps. Then cut more.

Good morning, the low temp is all of 2 and the high to 28°F. Wind ENE 9 mph. 60% chance of flurries.

Believe it or not, I enjoy plowing snow. The township ditch beside the road is 3' deep and 5' wide, and I am already pushing the snow past the end of the driveway culvert a full tractor length on the west side. There is a hydro pole in the way on the east side or I would be doing the same thing there. If you added up the square footage of the five other driveways I plow, they would almost equal the square footage of what I plow here, that is why it takes me anywhere from 2.5 to 3 hours when I plow.

Drew, is there 110 volt hydro in the trains? If so it might be time to take your own coffee maker with you and get coffee your way rather than their way. I would rather drink water than instant coffee.

Time to jump down the you tube rabbit hole and conserve energy.

Have a safe day all

29 outside this AM, heading to mid 40's. No rain, thank goodness.

Ground is too mushy to get into anything with equipment. Guess it will be a day just to kick back and relax. I should see if I can fish and find that one wire run for the outlet from another dimension. I walked away from it a while back, maybe with a clear mind I can figure out where it disappears to? Doubt it. LOL.

Hope all have a great start to the weekend. Be safe. Don't work too much, or if you do, stop and smile about it.

15F clear sky low 30's for high.

Outside chores done E muffin time.

Long day at work yesterday finally started snow removal 3pm weatherman again was off forecasting, instead of 6-8 inch fluffy snow ended up with 5" heavy sloppy snow  plowing with pickup was too much strain switch to Kubota, that S^#T move like water of duck back :) than clean all the roofs,it was 7:30pm when I finally plop in the recliner by 9pm I cuddling pillow.

Plans for today...load grit and spread on driveway, clean walkway and path to basement door with armstrong shovel and date night, going to be putter day.:)

Enjoy your day all,

Good morning all,
29 and snowing going to 38. Coffee is made fire is going.

Had a long talk with daughter at the hospital (JH) about granddaughter. She is stable and receiving treatment. She has two chronic conditions that can only be maintained but not cured. She had the doctor talk to granddaughter about the need to take the meds or if not she can die. She had skipped her meds and that has caused this to become critical.

Good Morning
It’s 29 with a high of 37 forecast for today. Partly cloudy and no precipitation.

Yesterday I got some very heavy trash cans to the street, still have one more to go until there is no trace of the old TV.
Had to go to the restaurant to deal with a warm Bain Marie, unfortunately it’s one that has been problematic for a couple years, and now the compressor rolled over dead. Solution was to put it and me out of our misery and replace it. New one is being delivered this morning.
Did some network tweaking, but the best news is that I’m confident that I have my Verizon mess straightened out. I got a confirmation email reflecting my desired changes and new bill. Also got shipping confirmation that the extenders are on their way to me.
It only took 2 weeks and generated 14 pages of transcript from the ongoing chat. I was supposed to give them a week to straighten it up, but after a day, I thought that was ridiculous, and re-engaged. This time it went smooth as butter and got the confirmations and terms of service agreement via email while still in the chat.
And so is the conundrum of Verizon, service that is second to none, and customer service that is industry leading for the absolute worst.

I also was able to determine that coax has a higher bandwidth 2-1/2 times higher than Ethernet, so will use that to connect the extenders, as one cable will carry their combined bandwidth.

Today I will go set up the new Bain Marie, setup the coax runs for the extenders, the cable is already in place, so it will be easy. Play with Zoe, tinker in the shop, hopefully bring up empty trash and recycling toters from the street, and get ready to play music tonight.

What’s the best way to post a video here? Put it on YouTube, and post the link?
