Good morning to all! Low of 16°, going up to 30 today. Slight chance of a snow flurry. It won't warm up until the weekend, hitting 40°, if you consider that 'warm'.....
Very deceiving, look outside at the bright sunshine and blue sky...... looks really nice --- until you open the door and the cold hits you.

Phil, hope your wife's voice gets better. It's been quite a while.... hopefully the treatment will help.

RNG, congrats on getting the lines leak free and having a 'rusty' engine. Hope the insurance gets their act together and give you an appropriate quote.

Paul, dealing with Verizon can be a real hassle. There used to be a trick that when you are first 'transferred' to customer service, you press "0" or "1" again, and it connects you to a US based person.... not sure if it still exists.

Kilroy, you have to be your own advocate. Especially so if you know and can prove the cause of the problem..... keep up the good work!

Drew, maybe just pack all warm weather clothing, then just wear all the cold weather clothes, layered of course....

Dennis, have fun painting the ceiling. I don't mind painting anything except for ceilings. Just can't look up for that long.... gives me a really stiff neck! I did get smart and purchased a telescopic pole for the roller a couple years ago. One of the better tool investments.

Appointment with the attorney is scheduled for this morning. Hopefully they put together a plan and we can discuss it.

I'm kinda disappointed that we didn't get more snow.... I really wanted to try out the edge tamers on the bucket. The tractor was all fueled and ready to go. I was ready to go.... mother nature didn't cooperate.

Bird feeders filled, pond still ice free. The mountain blue bird flock comes every morning for an hour or two.... then won't see then until the next morning..... I wonder where the go for the rest of the day?

Oops ---- forgot to put the trash out last night.... got to go do that right now!

I had just started taping over my kitchen cabinets to paint, when son decided he needed to eat, then wife decided to start throwing stuff in crock pot. So I gladly retreated. Not looking forward to this job.

The first hurdle would be getting them on the phone at all. It’s all “chat” based communication.
Which would of course be interesting if you didn’t have an alternate means to connect rather than the service you are dealing with!

63°F and no rain, but forecast for later today.

Goal is to get my 3 remaining PV racks built which should be doable as long as it doesn’t rain. Pieces are cut, just need to be installed in place, all ladder/scaffold work. And I’m not on either if raining.

Good to have a couple of beers with friends yesterday. My very first TBN friend, we met online here more than 20 years ago, before either of us moved to Hawaii. They have become chocolatiers, 1300 cacao plants.

This evening something of a celebratory dinner for my Studio tenant. Just waiting for the final inspection of his new house and he leaves Monday. I’m buying his 2022 Subaru as he won’t be returning for a year.

They never responded back. My note says next time we will call the police.

Think this is the third time we found extra trash in bins, this time they left a piece of mail with name/address in one of the bags.

snowing heavily, very pretty, but it won't last as temps rise.

Saw an ad for a certain medicinal shop in Morrisville, drove down and was amazed it was for real.
And allegedly legal, no medical paperwork required.
Lovely modern store, has been there two years, Brady's botanicals. Brady is the name of their dog...
And half the cost that I was used to. I told them this was too good to be true, and they just smiled.
And no tax, that amazed me. Farm product. Ok. ?? something seems off. Half price and no tax.

For my minimal nightime use, very pleased. Very helpful with severe arthritis and cramping.
Nothing, but nothing....is worth having Bubba as a roommate.

Snow has blanketed everything, the world is white, but not for long. I'm watching the snow/rain line come North, soon to be here and rain for rest of day.

29F light snow starting to fall.
Weather station saying 6-8 inches so I'm planning on 10-13 inches and better than heavy will be wet and heavy.

Short work day,dump run..critter food stop..new spark plug for 18 year snowblower and Sea Form..3 extra wheel barrow loads wood in the basement..Dr. appointment snow attach to pickup,soon dinner than feet up evening.

Got 3/4 of kitchen/dining ceiling painted. I’m beat. The paint has the slight pink tint when wet, but not dark enough. I had hard time telling new from the old.

I’d forgotten I had 2 LED tubes and 2 regular fluorescent tubes in this light. The LEDs are so much brighter, 4 LED would be too bright.
Since I can’t tell where I’ve painted, think I might just paint close to ceiling fan cover and not remove to paint under it.
