I still have mine. I beveled the end at a sharp angle to quickly push potato in, then made a ramrod. White rain hair spray & starting fluid worked well.

This is about the warmest New years day I have ever seen in all of my 76 years. Low temp 30 and going to a high of 34°F. Wind NNW 3 mph. Cloudy.
I went to bed at ten last night, knowing that when I would get up it would be a fresh year.
Of all the driveways I clean up mine is the worst.I will go out today and clean up the mess around the garages and house.
The horn on my tractor is more of a novelty thing than anything else. It does come in handy when I want to get the dogs' attention and get her out of the way, she is a bit brain dead.
