52F and cloudy with rain @ 14:00, calling for a high of around 54F for the day.

Did verify that a new record high temp was set yesterday @ CAK. The high temp of 65F toppled the old record that was set in 1972.

Woman is getting ready to head out and pick some items for New Years Eve Dinner. Mainly the sauerkraut for the sausage dumplings.

Just got an email from Amazon saying they had issued a credit for item we returned that didn't have the correct barcode presented to the return desk when The Woman dropped it off at Kohl's. The correct barcode was in the box, so evidently they figured it out. I call that pretty good customer service: they managed to succeed ... despite our best efforts to screw it up.

Worked out in the garage cleaning and straightening up last night until around 03:00, got a lot done.

Still a lot more to go of course but making good progress.

At least one can walk around out there now.

Found one perennial plant that still needs planted, top was gone likely killed by frost but roots still looked viable. Probably get that set out tomorrow when it isn't raining.

Most of the hand tools hung up but now out of hooks and space on the wall rack.

Probably get back on that here in a bit after I feed the fishies.

Might have enough space to unload the table wood by the time I finish tonight.

42F rain almost here.

Been good day for outside raking cutting branches limbs all clean up...2 main lawn done and front field,side going to have to wait after mud season.

BIG ole cheese burgers with all the fixing from the grill soon,afterwards feet up sharing bowl ice cream while watching football...doubt very much I'll bring in the new year.

They weren't overly impressive, so I added a little bit of Crystal hot sauce to liven things up a little.
Have been heating them on low.

Good (Sunday) early arvo. Overnight Low of 17C and it's presently 22C, overcast, calm and there was 0.5mm in the gauge at 0700.

We had a lovely meal at the restaurant last evening and then headed home to stay up (we did!) and ring-in the New Year... which we actually did as I have a decent sized 'ship's bell' mounted in my entertainment area. I don't know if we woke any neighbours up but the bell sure got a workout.

Annnd... woke up a few hours later IOT head into town for Church.

I fully intend to put my 'feet up' for the rest of the day.

Thank you to all the well-wishers on my BD. I tried to spot them all & Good Post. Ta.

Good evening all. 43ºF to start, partly cloudy,light breeze. Light to moderate wind, partly cloudy sky, and high temp was 70ºF.
Bike ride to start morning, 60 miles. Year total now 6588 miles. Nap after lunch then dinner. I wish you all more Happiness, Health and Success in 2023.
